"Yes," Dolmaya cuts off Alihana with a raised hand, "As it happens when you teach a child to swim, the solution is simple: Sink or swim. Do or do not. Success is the ultimate proof of learning."

Alyssa taps on her desk, "Croneasco, one of my followers, is helping a group of refugees on another plane. They are short of food and construction materials. I want to arrange some support, and I want Alihana to lead it as a way of building confidence and begin to build her own reputation."

Alyssa turns to Alihana, "The survival of this settlement may hinge on this. I personally believe you can do it. Will you take this on?"

[Anastasia]

"Of course I will," Alihana declares, "I'll succeed, too!"

Dolmaya nods ever so slightly to those words, as if affirming then. "Confidence will take you far, so long as you pair it with a modicum of talent and effort."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa nods, "Lasri is beginning to dive in to a logistical mission of her own. It might be wise to work with her and learn from each other."

[Anastasia]

"Then I will. I'll show you," Alihana declares with a hmph before, "What else do I need to know about this?"

Dolmaya seems content to watch and let Alihana work, as it may be.

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa grins slightly and gives her the details of the number settlers.

"You'll have to figure out the rest. Number of homes and trade buildings to sustain them."

[Anastasia]

Alihana takes that and goes off, step confidence. Once she's out Dolmaya merely notes, "I have my opinion, but do you think she'll succeed?"

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa leans back, "I think she will... but not smoothly, and not on her first pass. Or second."

[Anastasia]

"She'll learn then," Dolmaya agrees, "If she has half as much endurance as confidence."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Likely not yet, but she'll grow. That's what this place is for, so all can reach their full potential."

[Anastasia]
