4 Similar power or just any hellfire?

It's pretty high. You'd guess around competitive with your AC.

Hellfire would be best. It's possible searing fire, goldenfire or similar things might help or they might not.

Well, he's a hellfire warlock remember. As in bound to Baator. You're welcome to make an K:P and K:A check here but keep that in mind.

Yeah, but there might be a mercenary type I can hire and then keep under wraps until the end of the fight to keep the info from leaking out about what I'm researching.

There's scant few of a sufficient power - almost all end up dying, dragged down to Baator or willingly taken to Baator when they become strong enough. Hellfire warlock's usually a fast path to Hell, one way or another.

However, there are a few goodly and redeemed warlocks out there. Most notably is Mei of Aurora, and offhand she's the best lead you have on this.

Alyssa calls over Honeydip and Emily.

"In order to figure out a defense against Hellfire, we need to work with a Hellfire Warlock. In my research, I've found a likely candidate: Mei of Aurora. Any chance the two of you can arrange a meeting?"

"She's not one," Emily points out right away, "But she is a rare holy warlock. In case you weren't clear on that, she serves the Seldarine."

Honeydip merely says, "Still, she may have useful insight or know people who have that insight."

Alyssa nods, "The only other resort to her I can think of is raiding Baator to find one, or to keep looking for a mercenary one. If nothing else, she can help solidify and confirm theory."

[Anastasia]

"I know the people there, I'll bring her over," Emily gets up, "I'll be back."
