"And who would the holiest be?"

"Saints, deities, the Hebdomad." Emily lists off, "People like that."

"Not a deific paladin?"

[Anastasia]

Emily looks at you slowly, "Didn't I just say deities?"

"You never said you actually learned how to do it. Have you put together an actual technique for it yet?"

[Anastasia]

"I know the theory now but there's a lot of practice involved," Emily says at length.

"How long?"

[Anastasia]

"Not right away," Emily says, "I have to figure it all out, and knowing versus doing with metamagic isn't easy, if I can even do it. There's something called goldenfire spell."

Does Alyssa recognize that?

Considering Emily just talked about goldenfire a few pages ago, yes.

"Goldenfire is an option, yes. Who all do we know that uses it?"

Oh. Yeah, you'd know the basics. It's an epic metamagic, very rare.

Alyssa considers, "I think having either involved from the start is more attention than we want. Think you can convince Seira to be emergency back up with your efforts as primary?"

Okay, this is where I need to break character a moment. Cor's been out of B6 a few weeks due to RL stuff and may be coming back this coming week but it isn't 100%. As of now I can't reasonably guarantee he'd be around to do that due to that.
