Well what is that sneaky babau trying to grab? The ever so more sneaky Marie peers over his shoulder to examine it.

Within are bunches of neatly sorted glass vials. Each has a clear liquid solution within, one after another taken out and carefully put into a bag. Dozens of them.

They indeed radiate magic to answer the obvious question. Each one is a powerful, enchanted disease of massive lethality and potency.

[Ebiris]

Well. Marie is going to keep a close eye on this little babau and his wondrous bag!

Found a stockpile of nasty diseases they're trying to sneak out. Getting these is probably better than any of the other wealth they're evacuating.

[Anastasia]

Who are you sending to, Jessica?

[Ebiris]

Yes, assume unless stated any communication here is just between her and Jessica.

[Anastasia]

I agree. Let's strike, intercept them and escape. If things go utterly wrong and we can't, we destroy the vials.

[Ebiris]

Lets not be too violent. I can lift it off of the courier without him even noticing. Lets just tail him out of here and can do it when he reaches the portal.

[Anastasia]

I'm hardly Syala, there's little wrong with the elimination of a demon complicit in such matters.

But I'll trust your initiative here.

[Ebiris]

What do you think will happen to that demon when he gets to shadow without his cargo? But the point is to leave no trace we were here. Sneaky and silent.

[Anastasia]

They'll know someone took it when it arrives anyway. I don't count on our enemies being dumb.

But as you will, get it so we can escape.

[Ebiris]

Marie will stick like that babau like glue then, wherever he goes he'll have a pair of stealthy divine avatars right behind him! Actually just for fun she'll probably lift his bag when he's still in the city, possibly a more crowded spot so if they do notice the theft there will be an army of suspects.

She'll re-activate greater invis as soon as she lifts it so it can be made invisible as one of her possessions.

Soon enough they head out - and in a busy square it's easy as can be. You lift it right away, invisible in a moment as you have it. Got it!

Got it, lets go over to that alley on our right, third down.

Flush with newly liberated... death plagues, Marie and Jessica find a quieter spot in the city. There she forms an illusory door out of an alley-wall that two familiar figures emerge from, the balor and nalfeshnee they'd used as their disguises. Placing themselves over those illusions their invisibility ends and their veiled appearances take over, a smooth process done even though she specifically chose a spot no one was around to see.

No one she's aware of anyway. It's best to be careful and adhere to good practice.

Now these two nasty demons can walk out of the city and through the demiplane to leave the same way they entered, just another pair of abyssal horrors among so many.
