lets go in order, so what happened to the tower and then what happened with Canderella and anything after that might've happened after she was captured

The tower is there - tall and made of smooth metal and brick. As you watch you see that cracks begin to form on it, before an explosive force erupts from within. It deals considerable damage, devastating it. Nothing from outside, what ever happened here was internal.

The second part is about as Canderella described. She goes to the ruin, pokes a bit, ship shows up and things go all wrong for her.

"It blew apart from the inside." Moore says as he travels to the approximate epicenter.

How long ago did that happen?

Hard to tell with the Astral, since time doesn't flow normally here. Within the days function of hindsight, though.

Moore casts it again once he's close enough to the center to see if Hindsight, which he casts again, picks up on any names of what might've caused this, if it was a creature, in the radius.

There's interference from the incident when you look that close, but you can see something. A great array of magic circles, spinning in tandem and all routing towards....towards...a glass jar? Not glass. Diamond? You can't really see, it's too distorted, but it's definitely going to it.

Then the jar vanishes and everything erupts in an explosion.

"There was something here that was stolen via magic. I think they blew up the tower to cover their tracks." Moore says as he looks around - if it's been days there likely won't be much magic left, but something that severe must leave some kind of trace...

Arcane Sight, K:A for 123 and Spellcraft for 118, can he pick anything at all up? If so he'd like to identify the caster.

Canderella looks about, "Blow up an entire tower? I like his style."

Meanwhile you look about. There's indeed magic yet. Universal - a mix of all schools. There's a great many auras all tangled together. There's dozens and dozens of casters - all various githyanki names, including Vlaakith on one.

[Nephrite]

"...This doesn't make any sense." Moore says quietly. "There's dozens of spellcasters and spells here, so I don't know if I can untangle this to figure out which one led to this jar."

He shakes his head. "Let me try, though." He murmurs as he takes time to try focus.

He'd like to, if possible, just start following each strand - or maybe do that backwards actually - can he try and follow the magic that he 'saw' go to the diamond jar away from it? Rather than try and follow all of the various ones going to it, can he try and follow the magic from the jar that touched it right before it vanishes?
