I'm not seeing exact money for the Fortress of Lem payout from Spine, so let's go with 5,000 for the party. If I'm tired and missed it/forgot to record it in my notes, speak up.

19:34 <Kotono> "And if the staff is cursed, and has little value?" Anne adds a that, thoughtfully. "I know cursed items are often cheaper or effectively unsalable."
19:35 <Kotono> "The fee is meant to cover those possibilities," Spine answers, "As I am not yet aware of its full powers or history."

I assumed the same would be kept for everything, so we're getting 5,000gp for the fortress. What about the staff?

Normally you'd be getting these in pearls and coral, but Spine had time to prepare and assumed you'd prefer surface coins. If you want otherwise, say so.

Greenish bronze draconic coins - Strange coins of unknown mintage, but you get an offer of 300 gold for them all.
Several finger sized bars of silver, bird/falcon imprint - 2,850 gold.
A beautiful, gold dagger encrusted with gems - 2,000 gold even.
A pile of smooth, flawless gold coins in a strange script and with a goateed man on them. - These are easy enough to identify as coins minted in Dis. They're worth 920 gold total and used in planar trade. It's hardly the first time they've been seen, they tend to turn up here and there in Lady Spine's experience.
A large pile of glowing wooden cubes - The suggestion is to hold onto these or wait for more advanced testing, because they're something unusual and not easily identifiable. Otherwise there's an offer for 300 gold for them if you just want to be done with them.
