There are two Red Roof Inns in Lansing:

West
East

They're both 72$/night for a double room... making it not nearly as cheap as the Motel 6, Super 8, or Econologe options.

I'm honestly not sure where mum got the prices for RRI, but I believe they were on hotel.com or somesuch thing. If you reserve online, sometimes you can get cheaper prices.

I'm not sure which RRI is which, but I know the one my mom was referring to was on Jolly Road.

Both hotels.com and the RRI websites quote the same price (72$/night).  I'm guessing the prices went up with demand between the time your mother found them and the time I checked.

But it's no worries.  Ricey and I each have beds we don't have to share.  Hooray for a good night's sleep. :)

Just as a small update, the wedding plans are going well, etc etc etc. We're about 3 1/2- 4 months away from the wedding though, so if you're planning on coming, you should be making arrangements soon.

Updated the wedding info, including important RSVP information.

ALSO, in case anyone is interested in sending gifts or whatever, I DO have my name and parents' address on the first post. This will be the best place to send things, for now, especially if you live in the US.

A Canadian address will come just as soon as we know where we're moving to.
