Fallacies

Spoilers from a few months ago. Highlight for text

On "Daddy":

He bears more than a passing facial resemblance to Ed and Al's dad in the anime canon, but is the creator of the homunculus in the manga. His ability to "generate" homunculus seems similar to Naraku's ability to create fragments in Inuyasha ...

Despite the fact that Fuhrer Bradley is a homunculus, he possesses the ability to age as normal humans do, and he has a wife and son. Sloth is a large muscular man ...

In v8, "Daddy" reabsorbs Greed into his body

Content expansion:

The country name for FMA is Amestris. Across the Eastern Desert is a large Asian-themed country called Xing. Southwards is a small country called Aeruga, and westwards is the even smaller Creta. Across the mountains to the north is the larger country Drachma. Creta and Aeruga have border skirmishes with Amestris on a regular basis. Drachma has a peace treaty with Amestris, but the relationship between the two countries isn't exactly friendly; the mountains between them act both as a natural barrier and enforcer of peace.

Each country seems to have its own version of alchemy. In Xing, the practice parallels what the Taoist immortals are said to be able to do in legend ... that is, a medical-based sort of alchemy, dedicated to creating an elixir of immortality.

Other Plot:

In v8, a character bearing some resemblance to the historical Chen Long of the Ching Dynasty (rough romanizations) shows up, seeking the Philosopher's Stone for a means of immortality. Apparently, he's acting the rumor that the Stone exists somewhere in Amestris. Ed and Al trade blows with his ninjas. (The guy acts a lot like Mustang ...) The guy's opinion on Amestris: "There's something that feels off about this country."

From what the older ninja says following the fight, apparently some knowledge of ki manipulation exists in this world, and Al doesn't have the ki pattern a living person would normally possess. Whether this has anything to do with the way alchemy works is unknown.

Also, a Loli alchemist from Xing shows up independently in the mining town Ed and Al saved from the corrupt official. She whips out a wierd sort of alchemy that remotely links her transmutation circle with 5 kunai; if she manages to throw the kunai into the formation of pentagram, the transmutation applies to everything within.

Oh, and Barry meets Mustang.

While I have no clue what this is about, I'd like to note that your spoiler text is quite readable to my monitor. >_>
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Dracos

We do not have a spoiler tag system here.  Changing the font color works on only one of the two backgrounds.  In this case Fallacy is using one color that would be nigh invisible on one scheme but shows up clearly on another.
