"I cannot recognize such.  Only our king may.  And he will not see anyone until his daughter is returned here."

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Halbarad

"Looks like we've got a job then," Patricia says. Rescuing a princess isn't EXACTLY what she had in mind, but then everyone has to start somewhere, right?
I am a terrible person.
Excellent Youkai.

"Well, I for one want to find out what's going on here, so I'll go save Princess Sara." Craig put away his light orb. "Besides, I want to check out this temple they're holding her in too."

"Well. We'd better get going then, hadn't we?" says Helena, shrugging. "Have you got a map to this temple or something?"
[19:14] <Annerose> Aww, mouth not outpacing brain after all?

A guard came up and handed her a map of the Corneria countryside with the temple marked to the north.  "This should do."

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Carthrat

After quickly consulting the map..

"Aw, no problem! I think this is only a week or so away," she comments. "Are you guys good to leave today?"

"Hope you don't mind." Craig had snuck up on the woman and quickly took the map out of her hands before she could even blink, moving away as he inspected it. "I'm an old hand at these kinds of things, used to work in the ...fishing industry."

Usually robbing some of the more wealthier people blind, of course.

"A week's journey?" Patricia asks uncertainly. "Aren't we going to need supplies for a trip that long?"
I am a terrible person.
Excellent Youkai.

Olvelsper

"Well, it's easily fixed. C'mon, let's go get them." Craig started off, deciding to take the lead for now.

Leading out, Craig was followed by the smart-alecky Helena, the pseudo-demure Patricia, and the lazy and silent Alex as they headed off into the city, passing such great venus as:

Don's sleezy no good supplies shop
Rakhal's deathtraps
"Quality Supplies, not Rat Poison"
And Walmarts (Grand Opening in roughly two thousand years)

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Olvelsper

Using his extensive knowledge of thieving places blind, Craig lead the group to the closest store that sold quality supplies.

He realized Don's was probably the best of the lot.

Don, a sleezy greasy looking fellow with short black hair, stood behind the counter as they entered.
Well, Goodbye.

Olvelsper

Craig began eyeing the goods speculatively as he poked about the store, grabbing stuff that'd be useful for their trip as he went about. "Grab whatever you want kiddies, 'cuz this is going to be a long trip." With that bit of advice, he headed off to dump off the supplies at the counter.

Helena grabs camping equipment, field rations, a spare knife, some rope, a grappling hook, and a backpack.

"The fishing industry, eh? What sort of fish?" she queries, dumping her stuff alongside Craig's.
