Wrapup and omakes aren't a bad idea to fill in the time, and finish at least the strings that were left out. Just... I prefer to leave the chars in peace beyond that. The game is over, and it should be acknowledged as such.

Elaborate your last sentance with your stance on omakes, Laggy?

<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

I do kind of want to use Hotaru again. I put nearly two years into her, so yeah, I'm kinda attached. How to use her? I'm honestly not sure. It's kind of a close fit to the system and to the environment, though some concepts pop up here and there for things like a D&D build of a girl. I'd like to see what happens in the rest of her life, but that's sorta a reach out there.

Omakes? Yeah, I like them, I love them, I even have a few in mind.

I dunno, I like a lot of my NPCs too (I never got to spend time with Riko-chan or Kayabuki-sensei; also - REIKO IS THE COOLEST BOOYAH, okay, sorry >_>), so just...yeah. Lots of unused material there I'm likely to at least keep in mind and on hand, I guess, adn I'd like to sneak it in here or there if I can.

Omakes be fine. As Hal said, we really have nothing else to do in the spare time and I think we're all still itching for some form of SM RP.

My main point is that we shouldn't drag them on or essentially continue the game in spirit if not in word. Totally alternate paths or routes are fun to explore.

QuoteSo I'm going to ask - do you want to use the characters any more and if so in what forms?
To be honest, I'd rather not use Ami again. Ami was always something of a difficult character in some ways to pull off, and even if I was getting the hang of it, after this hiatus on playing? I'd rather just shelf her as decent gaming experience, rather than go back to the earlier frustrations with the character.

I wouldn't mind playing in a new SM game though. However, my work schedule is -not- going to be changing even remotely any time soon. The only way I'd be able to pull it off is if you limited it to the evenings (which would prevent Eb from playing), or keep it to weekends (which is when the D&D games are going on), so I don't see much luck in me joining.

If by some chance it could be pulled off in the weekends though, and you'd be willing to keep the game to a weekly schedule, I'd definitely jump right in.
<Cidward> God willing, we'll all meet in Buttquest 2: The Quest for More Butts.

Anastasia

Okay, Ami-chan. I figured, you did a good job with Ami overall.  If your times improve to work with the next game I'll keep you in mind.

Ebiris

I'm conflicted on this.

Like Laggy, I think the game is over, and we should acknowledge it as such rather than continuing it in spirit via omakes and what have you.

On the other... yeah, I didn't really want it to end, and I loved playing Usagi, so it's not like I don't want to play more given the chance.

Plus, yeah, bored with lots of free time.

I dunno, I've been trying to just let the game rest in peace since we canned it, but if everyone else really wants to do stuff - and I mean that genuinely, since you really do need a break, Dune - then I guess I wouldn't want to be left out.

The game is over, yes. I made an analogy to you yesterday on this subject, Game one ended but omakes went on. Nothin' wrong with that in my eyes, if everyone's down with it.

To the main thrust of the issue? I'm not sure I'm looking to do it soon since I'm enjoying my break. I don't want to rule it out in a week, two weeks or a month, though. Also, with a few upcoming games our omake time won't be THAT plentiful.
