Pick up car from body shop, park it at work garage, try to put it in a tight parking space, scrape car against pillar.

So, yeah, that's a nice scratch just above the rear right wheel. No way that's buffing out.

I'm trying to get this car ready to sell.

Going through GMing notes, building dungeons.  Hmm, misplaced the last dungeon I was working on.  Go over to bookshelf where I have an entire shelf of just notes/character sheets/maps/etc. from various games I ran.  Grab a notebook and see one of the maps I was looking for sticking out.

So far, so good.

Flip open notebook to the page the map is tucked into--

Realize notebook belongs to best friend who passed away six years ago, who ran one of the best games I've ever been in.

Cry for an hour.

...damn it.

Also, the rest of the maps I wanted were sitting on my kitchen table.

Edit:  Nope.  Evidently I pulled all my maps and notes out of that notebook.  Except for the single map/page that ended up (somehow) in Sterling's notebook, all of my dungeons are missing.  Presumably forever.

Time to start from (practically) scratch. =_=

So they finished their investigation at work.

I was fired tonight. I've never been fired before. It took everything I had not to start crying when they told me. I feel like shit.

Here's hoping I have better luck in the appeal process.
