My step-father got me a job some time ago, which I'm really grateful for.

I'm ... not thrilled that he got my mom a job there, too, so she now sits adjacent to me.

Also, what I mistook as a symptom of my OCD compulsive handwashing appears to be a degenerative skin condition, so now bits of me are falling off and I'm bleeding constantly.  Time to see a doctor....

Today has been almost unmitigated suck.

I've been in pain most of the day from trying to do gym yesterday.

I've made many poor decisions which quietly blew stuff up.  Luckly I think I cleared things up by the end of the day, but man, I was superklutz.

Federal Tuition for troops in the National Guard has been suspended indefinitely due to politicians not knowing how to balance a budget and having no sense of responsibility.

I don't know how I want to approach this anymore.  I've almost written off college now.

I spent some time writing folks about it, but the entire thing is just sort of a reflection of how out of touch and overall irresponsible congress has gotten.  Retaliation from constitutencies is either non-existent or too far off to matter, so things that should never happen are just allowed to occur because it's too easy not to find some workable plan to agree on.

I think my ridiculous portable drive finally bit it.  It had been traveling around for... I think at least 9 years.  The last four or five sitting atop a computer as a 'screw policy' music drive.
