Lunarfall looks decent to me. I'm using the alien one which at least is dark but I'm not in love with the green.

What finally put it over the edge for you?

Hadn't read it since January. Figured I'd catch up on it.

Right after catching up on another isekai I find shockingly good.

It isn't like I didn't know Death Mage was bad. I did. But you can still enjoy bad stories.

But time away from it, coupled with an example in the same genre fresh in my mind, really hammered home the two major problems I just cannot look past.

The power level stuff they focus so heavily on means nothing, and the story doesn't move.

Pretty much the same reason I gave up on Wheels of Time. >_>
