My notebook is dead. Vista reinstall, bios flash, puttering around for an hour on the phone with someone in India repeating things I'd already done...

Just fuck. At least it's still under hardware warranty. So here comes the happy fun fun mailing it in part.

Went to S.F. yesterday on public transit (I don't want to drive in that city).  Got a headache from screetching brakes, my agorophobia was triggered by too many people, and the P.A. system in the train terminal on the way home sent my into an aural state for most of last evening (giving me residual migraines today).  Bleah.
