There's not enough bitching

Ate too much meat sauce from spaghetti I made. Honestly, at this point, a meat sauce feels like an excuse to throw in a bunch of meats and see how it comes out.

Today's lesson? Beef? Good. Italian sausage? Classic. Ground pork? Nice variety. Bacon? GREASE BOMB RED STOMACH ALERT.

This week had layoffs.  And they wrote me out of discussing them (as usual of late), didn't use my guidance, and kept someone that..surprise, had a job elsewhere to go to.  So we then had to fight through politics to save the fired person's job again.  But hey, for a week where they wanted to fire 3 of 4 employees in the group, that only 1 of them (the one near retirement) got hit wasn't too bad.

That's awful, Drac. At least it sounds like you did what you could, but ugh.
