The purpose of this forum is to assist people in keeping an eye on series the members of Soulriders actually want to watch. As such we welcome people to post to The P~a~p~e~r Series Tracking Request Thread with series they'd like us to keep track of.

Now for the actual rules...

1) One thread per series.

2) Reporting R1 DVD-rips is strictly forbidden. Posts of this type will be deleted on sight.

3) Please only report on the absolute latest releases.

4) Only series people want tracked, as mentioned in The P~a~p~e~r Series Tracking Request Thread , will be tracked. The Mods though will have the discretion to report on releases not specifically requested at their discretion.

You can contact Shuten in the Soulriders IRC chatroom to make requests when I'm online as well as private message me on the board if you would prefer that your request remain private.

5) Please check the Tracking List before posting a request. As long as at least one person wants a series tracked it shall be done.

6) Requesting help in finding a particular series is allowed but remember that we frown upon mentioning R1 DVD-rips. All help requests, not including tracking requests, should go here: The Help Me Find 'Insert Name Here' Thread

7) Series that have finished their on air TV run and have been entirely fansubbed, this does not include specials aired after the final episode, will have [COMPLETE] added into the thread's title. Additionally series that have been licensed will have [liCENSED] added to the series title.

We reserve the right to change the status of a series if said status changes.

8) Do not direct link to torrent files themselves. Either link to the torrent site where the torrent can be found or link to the fansubber's website.

9) We reserve the right to restrict tracking at our discretion. This does not forbid others however from mentioning releases we've chosen to leave out.

The factors that are considered when determining how many groups we track for a series include, but are not limited to the following:

    The length of the series.

(The longer a series is the more likely we will be to restrict tracking to as few groups as possible. Shorter series are more likely to not have the number of groups tracked restricted since the commitment is much less.)

The number of groups subbing the series.

(It is highly unlikely that people are going to want to download five, for example, versions of the same episode. As such we try to keep this down to a manageable level.)

The quality of the groups subbing a series.

(We work to choose groups we feel have shown themselves to be of good if not the best quality. We do not always succeed but we do try the best we can. We are always open to suggestions however. We are also always keeping an eye on things and adjusting our positions accordingly.)

The groups people appear to be following based upon comments made on this messageboard as well as within the IRC Channel.

(As mentioned before we try to keep an eye on what's happening and adjust ourselves accordingly.)

10) We do not track 'hentai' animation or Parody Subs. We will not object however to others announcing releases of said material so long as the rules are followed and the announcements are in the appropriate places.

11) Reporting on the groups listed here is strictly forbidden.

Please note that we do not ban reporting of a group's work simply for having crappy quality, being slow, or what not. We don't even ban if every single member of a group is nothing but a bunch of third rate corrupt jackasses.

To be banned the group must do something so beyond the realm of acceptability that it cannot, in good taste, be tolerated. Such intolerable actions include plagiarism and thievery.

A group on the list can be removed from it provided certain conditions are met. Most of the time a simple reconciliation between the groups involved will be enough. Sometimes more will be required. We are not unduly cruel though and will never go out of our way to make requirements that are simply impossible to meet. In the end it will be on a case by case basis.

12) Have fun! ^^

Sincerely,
Shuten
