Stats

Body: 4
Mind: 10
Soul: 7

ACV: 7
DCV: 5

HP: 55+10 (Damn Healthy!)
EP: 85+10 (Energy Bonus)

Attributes

Body - Michiru's build is around average. Not doing a lot of exercise and not eating all that much won't do wonders for you. However, she does enjoy swimming often, which somewhat helps her build. Otherwise, she'd tend towards frail.

Mind - Michiru is very, very intelligent. Raised by a highly cultured man, who always valued the wonders of reading and appreciating the fine arts, along with a sharp sense of refinement, Michiru developed her mental faculties quite above the norm.

Soul - Michiru is not only knowledgeable; she is wise and mature, as well as very sensible. This could warrant a high Soul rating; however, she also suffers from a terrible lack of desire and drive, and a pale sort of bitterness at times. Her unwillingness to stand up to her beliefs and anti-conflictive nature put a serious damper on an otherwise possibly mighty soul.

Appearance (4)

- With her somewhat otherworldly features, gentle complexion and dignified demeanor, Michiru is truly a beauty to behold. Sometimes, it feels like someone could drown under the absentminded gaze of her eyes...

Powerful Mind (3)

- Michiru is quite the gifted mind: sharp and knowledgeable, excellent student, a potentially brilliant artist with notable dedication. She has the natural knack for intellectual greatness, and follows that tendency with utmost discipline, always exercising her braincells with the talents she developed.

Fast Reflexes (2)

- Michiru is very intimate with her violin and paintbrushes; the constant practice brought her notable thinking reflexes and agile, dextrous fingers which move as swiftly as they move delicately. Her hand motions are always accurate, gentle, but decisive.

Sensibility (2)

- Due to constant contact with the arts and a bit of natural tendency (along with a smidge of her upbringing), Michiru gradually developed a sense of the underlined. She can pick up unconscious non-verbal language signs with ease, perceive the intentions of people, as well as catch on to multiple dimensions of a symbolic work (like a book, a work of art or music). This lets her deal with highly emotional situations with the delicacy needed in such dire situations, and she can understand just the degree of emotional vulnerability one is under.

Agility (1)

- After her first meeting with Temptation, Michiru discovered that she could run notably faster than a normal human being. Michiru retains this trait even after being purified and awakened to her duty as a Sailor Senshi.

Senshi Power Package

Damn Healthy! (1)

- Michiru's awakening as a Senshi granted her her enhanced vitality. This gives her enhanced health and resistance.

Energy Bonus (1)

- Michiru's awakening raises the power of her spiritual energy.

Elemental Control level 2, Water. This excludes ice and frozen water but includes steam.

- No level 1 Sailor attacks.

- Sailor attack level 2: Neptune Crystalline Crescendo.

Base damage of 30. DCV check +1. This is a crystal clear, shimmering wave of water that reaches a triple impact on one target.

- Sailor attack level 2: Neptune Nereid's Sonata

Base damage of 5. A song of water overwhelms the target, washing away both a bit of HP and some of the will of the target. Inflicts a -1 to all stat checks for the duration of the encounter.

- Rejuve level 1.

- Combined Attacks level 1.

- Elemental Resistance, level 1. Half damage from water based attacks.

Inhuman Power Package (No longer available to Michiru for obvious reasons)

Unbreathing, uneating, unblooding

- Michiru does not need to breath, eat or have any natural functions. As thus she is immune to gasses and injuries via cutting and slicing are reduced by half.

Immunity to water based damage.

Stagnant Circular Entropic Rebirth:

- Stills the blood, the water and the breathing in one target. Costs 20 EP, deals a base of 25 damage. The air around the victim goes dead still, as if the person was taken out of time for a painful moment, so perfectly stagnant. DCV check +1.

Elemental Control (Water, Level 3, high focus on Stillness and Stagnation)

- After a brief, uncontrolled gasp of power at home during the night, Michiru's elemental powers awakened by the hand of Despair, who showed her the magic within.

Eyes of the Abyss (Defect)

- Her inhuman nature is revealed upon a glance over her eyes, dead and still like her soul. Due to this, Michiru is forced to hide her eyes from humans.

Defects

Easily Distracted (1)

- Due to having so many things in her mind all at the same time, Michiru sometimes appears a bit absentminded. She doesn't have all that much trouble to focus, but she can deviate if her mind is stimulated a lot. She also gets distracted by music she enjoys - in the sense that she will stop and focus on listening to a song, paying attention to its nuances.

Lack of Drive (2)

- Michiru is resignant, cautious and fears the possibility of mistakes almost irrationally. Philosophically, she prefers not to act than to act and regret. This leads her to a rather detached, spartan life of few pleasures and little to strive for, without a bright future to look up to. Thus, she lacks will. This makes things difficult when she needs to deal with tense situations, particularly when she feels she isn't prepared enough, and she isn't willing to stand up for what she thinks it's right. In fact, her convictions are weak, and she's always waffling between concepts of right and wrong. She is also lethargic - taking her out to go have fun for a girls' day out, for an example, can be one hell of a tricky task.

================
NPCs - This list will be short.

Kaioh Shizuka (Michiru's mother, deceased at age 33. Birth date - 09/03/1944)
Kaioh Masato (Michiru's father, age 53. Birth date - 12/28/1941)

Masato is the former head of Kaioh Inc., a long-time family business that deals with cultural activities and goods (book editors, museums, theater, musical instruments). He inherited the position shortly after completing Law school (at age 23), where he met his late wife, Shizuka (who was a poet and musician - specialized in the transversal flute. She met Masato during a musical presentation of a Tchaikovsky concert during their college years), who adopted Masato's family name. Due to fertility and stress issues, Shizuka and Masato couldn't bear a child for years, and, when they finally did, Shizuka's pregnancy was rocky and complicated - which resulted in her death due to complications after giving birth. Thus, Michiru was raised solely by her father (who, to take care of his daughter, resigned his position as the head of the company, passed onto his younger brother - although Masato would still have a share of profits under the company as a secondary partner), and the oft-switched, few servants in the Kaioh household. He is a man of mature charm and stern, dignified complexion, 179cm tall, with greyed, short hair and a well-groomed goatee. Wears glasses and always wears long-sleeved shirts and ties, even when at home. Often wears suits, whose colours are discreet and sober.

Masato is, to speak bluntly, a man who beckons his looks. He is as noble and serious as he appears to be, being raised to maturity very early to take care of family responsibilities. His sense of duty only grew stronger with the times, particularly when he began raising Michiru. He also is a lover of arts in a fairly wide range, a keen appreciator of music and literature - a love he immediately passed down to his daughter. Much to his joy, she inherited the artistic talent he could never muster, living up unfulfilled wishes through her.

Masato's relationship with Michiru is almost thoroughly symbolic, a language in its own, despite spending so much time with her (or maybe due to such). Both of them have problems speaking up directly, thus, they are always in a constant guessing game of affection and needs. Michiru's reluctance to open up to anyone regarding her deepest thoughts and shortcomings keeps her from being direct with her father (or anyone, for that matter). Masato, by his token, is not a man of many words, and his stern, steely personality brings up a wall for spoken communication - sometimes, written as well. Thus, they had to slowly learn to read each other, understand their patterns, bond through non-verbal means. As an example: every day, Masato watches and listens to Michiru during her violin practice time. And that time of focus, full-on musical sinaesthesy where her father only listens and silently understands, is more meaningful to Michiru than talking to him all night would ever be. A nod, a gentle glance, a frown or just a blank stare are often all they use to convey their truths to each other. And, when they get it right, they're in complete harmony. They rarely talk much, and even the times they engage in long conversations, they're always vague, full of underlines and subtleties.

However, the margin for error is also very small. They very rarely keep grudges (although, instead of talking them out, they just eventually forgive each other), but they are rarely overjoyed towards one another, and a mistaken signal is often troublesome - sometimes, disasterous. Michiru never truly figured out what exactly Masato wants from her as a father (to just be her best? To be THE best? To be a nice, common girl? She does understand her father enjoys immensely Michiru's artistic inclinations and her intelligence, but wonders if, sometimes, her lack of joy torments him). And Masato never truly grasped where exactly his education led Michiru, whether she is hurt or resentful. While they know of the deep, respectful love they have to each other, they are also filled with doubts and uncertainties regarding the inevitable, long-sleeping, or still fresh wounds that marked their journey together. Thus, making this game of marks, symbols and unsaid words unstable and dangerous, if always subtle and delicate.

Description and backstory

Michiru is a graceful, somewhat pale and slender seventeen-year-old, being 5'4'' tall, with blue-green eyes and wavy, shoulder-length sea-green hair. Her complexions always emit a solemn sort of dignity, but her expressions themselves are hard to read into - she always seems a bit distant, contemplative, which means that discerning her current feelings from a glance can be quite the task. She enjoys dressing herself with a glint of elegance - not necessarily with excessive formality, but preferring subtlety and dignity to flashiness, using mature, calm, somewhat cold colours - like grey, pale burgundy and certain shades of blue. She likes aquamarine gems, but rarely does she wear any sort of jewelry.

Michiru's life isn't much in terms of actual happenings. Her mother, Shizuka, died mere days after giving birth, and Michiru has been raised by her father since. At the age of five, Michiru began playing the violin, after a couple years of trance over the music her father would constantly hear at night in his bedroom, while she would lean her ear to the wall and grasp the echos of sound coming from there. From the Magic Flute of Mozart to Schubert's Rosamund, she would fall asleep on her feet late at night, fascinated by the music. And she picked it up fairly quickly. In school, she also learned painting, and she expressed the desire to keep on learning. Since her childhood, music has been her passion, and painting has been her refuge. The refinement of literature and philosophy would come in later, as her mind matured.

In school, Michiru's artistic inclinations always sled her through many doors. The music and literature club were her playground, and, within those circles, she always had a good social reputation. Amongst teachers and other adults, her manners and serenity were the invitation letters. Thus, within her limitations, you can say she is fairly well-adjusted in society as of now.

As said before, there is little of note in Michiru's life. At least, her outer life. However, her inner life has always been rich and tense, mostly due to the latent development of her artistic and philosophical sensibility. Outside school and her academic duties, Michiru chose to live a secluded life, and she stands by that. She has acquaintances, she knows people, she talks to people, but she has, in essence, practically no friends. The only person who actually knows Michiru beyond the educated honor student is her father. And their relationship is... unusual, to put it simply. Also, Michiru's thoughts regarding his mother are muddled and badly defined. Ever since childhood, her father would remark about Michiru's sensibility striking an uncanny resemblance to her mother's... but very little beyond that. She has never lived with a mother, thus, she prefers to keep any possible nostalgia and mementos away. Due to that, she knows very little about her mother's story and personality, and often avoids talking about it with her father. It's a loose tie on Michiru's side.

For studies, Michiru is a student in Thomas Aquinas' School for Girls. She is currently a honor student, and a high-school senior. She is a long-time member of the music club and the literature club.
