I'm...optimistic on the revolution.

I want it to win if only because nintendo is the only company I see with the right philosophy.  Microsoft being second and sony being a very painful third.

It isn't really about winning, though, is it? I mean, I know that my house will have two of the systems at the least just because we always do. Having multiple systems, I don't really want to see anyof them 'crap out', as the saying goes. I understand that they, as businesses going after the same market, must see each other as competition, but I don't understand why we gamers have to as well.

I really want the Revolution to succeed because Nintendo has almost always been good to me. I know that I can rely on them to put out a decent number of first person titles that I'll fall in love with and play a lot. That is what Nintendo IS for me.

That doesn't mean that I wish a subpar gaming experience from the other systems. Rather, I wish that the Revolution's success would encourage a change of policy within the other two companies.

I'm.. really failing to see how Microsoft's "Let's grab money by making you pay well over the norm 250 dollars for the full system" is a better philosophy than Whatever the fuck is up with Sony.
