Captain America: Winter Soldier VHS trailer. You didn't even know you needed this.

The people who benefit most from the system being broke also have the influence to keep it that way.

Heh, saw that last week. It's pretty funny/awesome. Also made me recall that Kung Fury Kickstarter that ran a while back. Sadly no word on when that's coming out besides early 2015.
<Cidward> God willing, we'll all meet in Buttquest 2: The Quest for More Butts.

Kaldrak

I have found a MLP related video. The song is rather catchy.

I'm walking away from the internet now. Hopefully I can restore my sanity soon.

I'm probably the wrong guy to say so...but please do restore your sanity soon! =p

System's Shock 2's SHODAN reveal, in next-gen graphics

The build-up effects are really nice. SHODAN's face doesn't have enough glowing lines, though. And the speech is truncated, which seems unnecessary.

Iron Dragoon

This is not the greatest post in the world, no... this is just a tribute.

Did someone say Weird Al? I just found this video of his.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sCIe97BC3Zc <-- This is some ridiculous luck in a Hearthstone best 3-of-5 round for some e-sport competition.

It's kind of amazing to watch if you know enough of the game to follow, though at the same time, you can't help but feel bad for the opponent.

The first time it happens, he knows he's fucked, but he tries to take a parting shot before he concedes...and it happens again. You can't help but laugh, knowing he was conceding. But impressively he claws his way back from 0-2 position to 2-2. Time for the last game and the win point...and it happens again.

Three times the same random effect (1/62 chance each time) happened.

Man, I felt bad for the guy. I'm amazed that he actually finished playing the match, I don't think anybody would have faulted him if he just got up and left.

*looks up paper mentioned*

Quote from: page 109The statistic that expressed a correlation as a linear relationship was the product-moment correlational coefficient, or simple 'r' and the statistic was calculated for two variables by multiplying the z scores on X and Y for each case and then dividing by the number of cases minus one.

1. No. Unless you're being willfully ambiguous with those words.
2. Anyway, that procedure results in a vector. Pearson's r is a scalar.
3. And since you're comparing ordered category variables instead of equal-interval scale variables, you should be using a rank correlation, not the product-moment correlation.

*sighs*
