I don't really have a good or bad time... it's the advanced notice that will be the biggest factor for me, and I would say at least 3 or 4 months notice.  Distance I am not worried about as long as it is within U.S. borders (so I can burn my next free ticket from United), and a major hub city would be nice (easier to get to).  Other then that, I'm pretty open to whatever everyone else is interested in.

Shuten: I have no problem respecting your wishes, however, if this happens be prepared to spend a couple hours on Skype as we conference call you to death.   :wink:

My suggestion to have SRCon piggyback on top of some anime Con wasn't too popular in the channel. For me, the next best place would probably be Northeastern US.

If there are any goons with a sizable house that could host us, we might want to hold the Con there.

Timewise, I am good between early June and late September.

Hmm... I would gladly host (I'm renting a nice sized house), but I'm not sure how keen everyone would be to being around kids (my roommate has two) and it appears that everyone wants to go east... not west.   8)

Speaking for CyMage and myself....

At the moment, summers are bad traveling times because that's when Cy works the most. The trials and tribulations of living in a tourist town.... So basically, any time between Memorial day (Victoria Day in Canada) and Labor Day are probably bad. Though right before or right after would work, except it's bad for school. =p If there IS a summer meeting, it would have to be close, so we can actually drive there and back in good time.

As for transportation, we don't have a lot of money to fly so within reasonable driving distance would be good. (no more than a day's drive)

Personally, I like the idea of having the meeting during the same general time as a con, though it would be more expensive. It is fun though and gives people plenty of things to do together other than game.

Incidentally, Cy and I will be attention ACEN '06, as per tradition. So we'll be busy the first weekend in May. =p

Mmm, I dunno.  I have one too but I suspect if we actually get a sizable number of people (10+) it would be a poor idea to hold it in someone's house?
