My first choice would be Harper's Ferry. Langley or Cincoteague wouldn't be bad either.

Not sure about Savannah since it would be the most expensive and I'm not sure if I want to go down that far south.

Okay, we've  got a pretty resounding contingent behind harper's ferry.  I've  never been there but it is where we are going to go.

So...dates/places:

We'll shortly try to have up both hotel options and things to do there.  This is though the concrete date/place so that tickets can be scheduled or driving plans made.

If folks need the hotel nailed down now we can do that, but beyond, we have the dates and the place.  I hope everyone is making plans to be there.  Those who'd like to volunteer to help plan, please let me know as I'm kinda overstretched at the moment.

Okay, I've heard nothing from folks consiladating plans for this and a lot of 'um, well, um'.

I don't have time for a full fledged meeting on this.

If you are 'definitely' going to be there, I'd like you to confirm here.  If you're getting your own hotel room, please let others know you've reserved or whatnot so things go smoother.  As of now I have no idea who has bought tickets to go or reserved rooms.  I'm driving, so this doesn't affect me much.

Okay, I haven't been able to get anyone to help select hotels so...this coming week I'll be doing that.  =)  Hopefully we'll get that squirreled away shortly.

Okay, scaling through a few things and AAA recomendations, the only real decent hotel in the Harper's Ferry area is the Comfort Inn ( http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g60722-d100259-Reviews-Comfort_Inn_Harpers_Ferry-Harpers_Ferry_West_Virginia.html )

Upside: It's actually marked by AAA with even marks (3 stars).

downside: It says its average rate is 90ish a night.  So for the nights of the 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd(?), we're looking at about 360 per person.  Haven't contacted them yet.  Anyone have any ideas?
