THE CONCEPT!
Ragnar> The way I understand it, Drac wants us to create a little world and write about it.

Brian> Okay.  So the idea is we've got this interdimensional news agency (The Soulriders) who has noble reporters (us) willing to brave the potential ravages of otherworldy battles and yaoi sequences (the games) to talk to the denizens about the experience.

Brian> Essentially I was running with the vague idea that what we had was an organization that put bounties (or the like) on stories from exotic locations.

Brian> Then we have interviews with witnesses so we can get fun second-hand accounts of peripheral events to current campaigns.

Worlds' News: Ragnar's section mostly, though others are expected to submit articles here as well. See above.
Status: Definite. Primary section.

Entertainment:
Rumors/Gossip - Pokage being made to Yuthrin to handle this section. Examples: <Brian> So we could focus on really obscure events, like a villain's convention, where we note which famous faces have appeared -- some kind of weekly "gossip" colum could cover that.
Status: Unknown. Needs a writer. Preferably Yuth.

Comic Strips - "Sunday's best", the funnies of the worlds. Art to be done by Stormy as well as anyone else willing to submit funnies.
Status: Under consideration.

Advice Column - Storm's suggestion. Examples: "Dear Frankie, my wife has been so cold to me lately..."
Status: Under consideration. Is stormy interested in running this?

Classifieds: For sale, jobs, etc. Examples: "Help Wanted - Rogue. Must be skilled at finding and disarming traps. Must be willing to eat defeated slimes." "Cheap Apartments! Only $130 a month. Comes with utilities included and one month rent free. Prime real state located by Cave of Screaming Banshees."
Status: Under consideration.

Obituaries: Deaths of PCs, NPCs, et al. Includes "Red Shirt of the Month".
* Brian was kind of hoping for a "redshirt of the month" column where every month honorable mention was made to a reporter who didn't manage to make it back after his story got sent home.
Status: Who knows?

Sports: Subway Polo, colloseum games, brutal combat, whatever! The fans watch it, we report it!
Status: Unknown. Need a main writer.
