Dracos

He could try to shoulder ram it.  Or smash the table and try and use that.  Or call the others.

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Olvelsper

He used the table to try and smash the door down.

Dracos

It took some doing but he chucked the table, putting a huge dent in it.

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Olvelsper

Jan tried to use the table again. If it was too bad to use, he'd start shoulder ramming it.

A few blows and the table was shattered, but the door had holes in it, enough that a good strong blow would carry him through it, and he could see the dirt floor on the other side.

A cold wind blew from within.

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Olvelsper

Jan started smashing his shoulder into the closet for a minute before he broke in, wincing at how sore his shoulder was now. Shaking his head, he made his way inside.

"Wonder why those bandits or whatever didn't raid this place."

The place was bitter cold as he entered.  A sort of cave.  There's more than a few corpses scattered about, with lots of bite and claw marks on them.

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Olvelsper

"Well, seems I found where they stay. Wonder if they have a back entrance down below." Jan started making his way deeper into the cave, prepped to transform if needed.

There were stairs a bit in, leading down into the depths.  It was chilly without being really cold.  More of a sort of sense that human life did not tresspass here.

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Olvelsper

Jan shrugged the feeling off for now and continued down the steps. He had to find out what was going on in this town and why a massacre seemingly happened here.

He eventually came to a large open underground cave.  A sort of supernatural soft light illuminated it only slightly, coming from a large crystal floating at the end of it.
Well, Goodbye.

Olvelsper

'Man...when'd my life turn into one of those stories that the old man tells the children?' He mentally groused as he carefully approached the crystal, looking this way and that for anything that might jump him.

Dracos

Inside there was a purple box, small and shut.  The crystal was about three times it's size, completely covering it.

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Olvelsper

Jan blinked, and carefully reached out to grab it.

Dracos

It didn't zap him, though it was a bit frigid to the touch.  Not ice though.  The crystal continued to glow.

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.
