Hogyoku ex Machina has two new chapters up and is almost finished. Thankfully both are pretty good.

Mmm.

For almost finishing it sort of kind of misses the ripple.  "Okay so in the future he totally was going to kill this guy.  Now in the past, he's done X more than that?  Right?  It's not just about him getting more badass?"  I'm just wondering if that'll be hit before the end.  Not that I don't like what's there, it just seems sort of a weak end note.  "And the rest of the cast kinda cheered and some of them got stronger, and they cheered some more for the Shonen lead that handled everything."

Another chapter of BoF 2 Novelization came out.  Pretty neat take on the reveal of Barubary.

Into the Void 3 and 4 went up today.  Well, technically 3, but I ranted that it needed more to work. :P

Heck, Big Human kind of let a chance for everyone in the cast to be awesome in that chapter.  Pretty nice.

A terrible fic, and one where I kept reading since it just kept getting worse, like a vintage MST movie.

If Ukyo had been surprised before, now she was totally gob smacked as her jaw hung freely in face of Ranma's proclamation. "Wait, wait, wait...Did I hear that right?" she asked slowly getting up. "You're marrying Kasumi?" she repeated for clarification.

Ranma smiled as he nodded. "Yeah, you see Cologne made it so that my body acted as if it was in Nyeko-ken, but my mind was human Nyaa. And as it so happens Kasumi was the only person who was nyaice to me. Also I found out that Kasumi has nyothing other than her family which is pretty dysfunctional even without me in it Nyaa. Plus she's the only one who hasn't taken advantage of me in some shape or form Nyaa." He glared lightly at Ukyo when she tried to protest.

Ranma sighed as he continued the explanation "Unfortunately...since I did nyot get the spell broken in time I'm nyow what is called a werecat Nyaa." He stated as he gestured to himself. "I'm stronger, faster, smarter, and unfortunately...hornier then ever Nyaa." He shifted around uncomfortably. "Anyways before you ask any questions let me finish Nyaa. One...Werecats and Werewolves are pretty much the same except for species, so a werewolf's weakness is my weakness Nyaa, though they only hurt, they do nyot actually make me weak Nyaa."

Late on this, but I haven't had much time to read lately.

Tabula Rasa updated. It seems to be righting itself away from it's last arc. On one hand it has some amusing bits and characters. On the other it felt obligated to have the tried and true 'She-Ranma has her first period' routine. Otherwise it was enjoyable and the chapter end shows that shit is really hitting the fan.

Ranma figures out what she feels for Ryoga. My problem with it is that it feels like it's steering for a happy end and that everyone is going to encourage/force Ranma into a relationship with Ryoga. I can see Nodoka doing that already, same for Akane and Ukyo. That's the fic's greatest failing, it's transparent with how it dispatches problems to open the way up for the Ranma/Ryoga matchup.
