Surprisingly good. I haven't read much Dresden fanfiction because not a lot of people get his voice right. So far (reading chapter 9 now) this delivers.

I can't remember if Dresdenverse vampires operate on the principle of invitation, but if so, that's a whole lot of headache for Harry to deal with.

I have never understood the point of hatefiction. Why get so worked up about a freaking story that you spend more time writing about something you don't like in the first place? Why not...i dunno, go do something(or write about something) that you DO enjoy? Meh. People.

Brian's problem is that he's developed too high a tolerance for garbage. I still remember the hatefic that made me have a zero tolerance policy on that sort of thing. It was horrible.

Worse yet, the version of the story I read was an MST by my favorite MSTer back in the day. That's the only reason I got as far as I did through that torture porn. Just thinking about it turns my stomach after all these years.

I don't know that I'm that tolerent.  Otherwise I might have laughed.  I just have an over-developed sense of responsibility.

In hindsight, I think I was being trolled, and just fell for it.
