Unforseen Consequences a Zero no Tsukaima/Madoka Magica crossover. Louise summons Kyuubey as her familiar and is thrilled to have an obviously magical familiar - even if no one else can see him (invisibility is totes magical!). His constant demands that she make a wish and become a magical girl are initially weird, but eventually she has a reason to take him up on it. All seems well as a magical girl, with cool powers and the result of her wish making life much happier - until she's outed as a lich. I like this one since it takes its premise and runs with it - magical girl/lich Louise isn't tied to the academy, her situation forces her to take a different path than that followed in canon, and while the same events happen, Louise not being around for pivotal moments in the base plot and affecting other things differently keeps it interesting. Also once the familiar runes start forcing Kyuubey to be protective of Louise, he does it in the most tsundere fashion possible, which is amusing.
