Overlady is good stuff. Shame no updates recently
What if they're not stars at all? What if the night sky is full of titanic far-off lidless eyes, staring in all directions across eternity?

Ebiris

Yeah, Worm sunk its hooks into Earthscorpion but good.

Yuthirin

Imago of Rust and Crimson was great, then that sorta stopped too.

Since I was at home with the flu, I went looking for Ranma fics.

I was amused by this one.

Had potential, if the writer ever felt like continuing it.  OOC Ranma, but I have the feeling that was the point.

*Very* long bouts of exposition.  I think the first set lasts about ten chapters, and that's not the last of it.

I read all 75 chapters, but I enjoy worldbuilding setups.  That and the flu (which meant I wasn't going anywhere) let me power through the fic.  I suspect without one or the other, I wouldn't have made it.

There are some interesting concepts in this fic, if you're willing to last multiple chapters to reach them, but I can't recommend it unless the writer gets an editor to rip through it.

Enjoyable, though the Nidhogg sections definitely overshadowed the battle against the corrupted Heroes.

Gabe also took a similar angle with them in his DxD crossover, and I think it does work pretty having defenders of humanity crossover characters be very at odds with the "yeah, sure, let's wipe out the peace conference and ally with the warmonger devils" heroes.  Also https://www.fanfiction.net/s/10202330/1/Beyond-the-Outer-Gate-Lies gabe fic I was talking of.  Did finally end up reading it recently.
Well, Goodbye.

Every so often, I reread the first and last arcs of the Shadow Chronicles, at http://www.shadowchronicles.net/.  The last few days were one such instance.

More of a completely opposite type of story: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/6434872/23/Switching-Places-Evangelion

See. I couldn't Shadow Chronicles. But I loved On a Clear Day.

So, The Games We Play is the best thing I've read in quite a while. I read it on ff.net first, and when I found out that only about half of it was posted there it made my day. Also, new updates coming out very frequently. I just hope they keep coming.

Just quoting this since I'm still following that story. It's a lot of fun, though the thread around it is a mess.
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Omakes. Omakes everywhere.
I'm going to need your signature for the metric ton of whoop-ass you're about to receive.

So there exists Advice and Trust. It's mostly an adorable ShinjixAsuka NGE fluff fic, but it's now showing hints of plot. Updating fairly quickly.

There's also Amelia, which is a Wormfic. Composed of equal parts badass, hilarious and adorable. Updating multiple times per day, and has been for over a month; now hanging over 200kword. The author is nuts.

I've been trying to read Amelia, but it just doesn't do it for me. The work feels sparse.
