Think I failed to mention this one.

https://forums.sufficientvelocity.com/threads/subduction-worm.6053/

Abandoned fic.  Was following an interesting slow dig into the conspiracy of Cauldron, following Taylor joining up with Mercs to try and support her injured dad.

It seems definitely that a lot of the more fun Worm fics are Taylor the Trump.

That one always bothered me. Why not try to get Panacea or join the Wards for money and medical care? I remember thinking it felt contrived.

I wasn't clear on that.  In general, that's an unfortunate issue through latter Goblin Queen: It becomes more and more difficult to tell the intentional reality warping from just the story.  Early on, it is more precise and visible with it.

Almost done with sufficient velocity.  This was a somewhat neat starter, Taylor gets some dangersense plus super-speed power after almost committing suicide.  Some nice scenes with dean and victoria.  But it really hasn't gotten going so it's hard to say anything more on it.
Well, Goodbye.

What will you do once you're done? Go to AO3? :p
<Cidward> God willing, we'll all meet in Buttquest 2: The Quest for More Butts.

Nice idea for a fic but it really died out too early. So it goes with fanfiction.

Probably to space battles and then back to ff.net.  Then the void.

An amusing, but altogether not very far along exalted/worm fic, played straight so far, which is nice next to goblin queen or others that totally overfill the universe with it.
Well, Goodbye.

Interesting idea but man, the author needs to post more. His update rate's really slow.

Before the locker, Taylor's dad gets into a car accident with her and dies.  She triggers and gains super-unbreakable type nuclear powers, alongside a seriously suicidal outlook.  Only a few chapters so far, but basically a different twist on the opening scenes.  Taylor tries a few attempts at suicide before going for Suicide Via Lung.  Lung almost gets killed, and Tattletale tries to keep the crazy suicidal girl tossing anti-matter around from blowing up the city.

Coil naturally pokes at this.  It's pretty dark, but at the same time, somewhat curious what will happen.  We've got a lot of potential explosion points sitting there for a main character that could level the city.  Instead of a 'scary' cape, we've got a 'fuck, you do not poke that' taylor.

Hum.  Read the Memorial series as someone offhand mentioned it was a fandom best.

3rd story in it, updated friday:
https://forums.spacebattles.com/threads/legacy-worm.345448/

Anyhow, it goes with butterfly flap effect.  Taylor waits a bit to make her decision at the very beginning.  Does a trial day with the wards.  Comes back and has her house blown up by Bakuda.  Barely survives while her dad is killed outright.  Huh, two of those in a row kinda :P  Anyhow, she goes on a crusade to clean up the city and get vengeance as well... while pretending to be a relatively low key rogue.  Some great character bits, 'specially with Quinn who has more screentime on this fic than any other fic I've seen.  A lot of 'well you kill that guy and...oops, looks like there's bad side effects'.  The New Age group comes across more 'real' then I think I've seen them, both as people and as a significant notable force molding the city.
Well, Goodbye.

Notes is hit and miss for me. I liked Cenotaph, lost interest in Wake early on and couldn't get into Legacy at all. Likewise, his one shot stories are all over the place. I wouldn't call them fandom best, though I do know the stories are popular.

https://www.fanfiction.net/s/10085885/18/Harbinger read harbringer.  I do like time travel fics, but this didn't work for me really.  Recoil is better, but more just original content.  This has hanging over it that it has taylor do some excessively dumb stuff involving accord at the beginning...that then sits as another shoe to drop for dozens of chapters after it.  Things just are weird from a lot of the not-fallouts from that and despite a long run, it really hasn't actually butterflied much.

https://www.fanfiction.net/s/11510394/1/Paragon-Interupt - filtered crossovers by length.  This...gets a little better as it goes, but is basically a crummy ME(Almost SI) cross with Worm.  Some fun ideas and you can see the author growing over time, but it's very weak as a story.
Well, Goodbye.

Continuing reading barrage.

https://www.fanfiction.net/s/10473120/1/Acceleration  read through this, a finished crossover of Worm/Railgun with Taylor getting Accelerator's powers and basically having them taken to the extreme.  Kind of a weak final conflict (The entirety of the Slaughterhouse nine basically get mauled in moments as their plan to wreck Taylor's day goes very wrong) but basically has a Taylor that has trouble relating to folks more and more through the story.

It's not great, but is complete, which is kinda rare.  Armsmaster is very much the hero of note of the story, doing what others seem to ignore: Trying not to drive the unstoppable parahuman crazy and instead give some positive social connections (in his awkward way).
Well, Goodbye.
