How's the chapter? I'd have to reread a ton of it to get back into it, and I don't have the time or inclination right now.

Caught up on El Ahrairah and...

Frankly having trouble keeping interest.

Basically he's gone chapter after chapter of Taylor either being the explicit center of importance or thrashing in vicious social combat with her supposed allies.  Everyone in the story was just painted with an enormously manipulative brush, which really begs how serious they are about the real problem, being willing to repeatedly play these sort of petty social power games (Taylor included).  It feels like a wave of them, and win or lose, going chapter by chapter in repeated little power games (sometimes two in one as this had) is just draining and disorienting from the theoretical goal.

For all Taylor deduced there needed be several options, we're really not having any put together.  Her hero optimization has completely stopped.  Her non-combative relationships are gone.  Nobody is successfully snarky or jokey or cheerful or even supportive.  They're either It is all on you or WE BRING OUT THE KNIVES!

Tails in Copeatic makes for an intriguing sentient shard character.  Unnamed Voice in Taylor's Head... just doesn't right now and it is kind of a weak time to enter in the middle of all of these things.  It feels like the author is very much (through Contessa) trying to set Taylor in the right mindset... but the whole world seems to be out of the picture.  Irrelevant/  I dunno.  It's actually really comparable with Copeatic there where there is a lot of other characters who aren't circling taylor like some god figure (and plenty that are).  Here, even petty opposition to taylor gets handwaved away in favor of just more social duels.

Decent, I'd wait a bit.  There still in the thick of the Noelle situation and that probably would be better as a single story.

Normally a bunch of turnoffs, this one's well executed by using rotating PoVs and never showing the SI's point of view. The SI takes Robert's place during Robert's Rebellion and things begin when he captures the Iron Throne. Moves at a reasonable clip and does a great job of storytelling with the various PoVs.

Basic idea is that on the Halloween Voldemort kills the Potters, Snape manages to guess what's going on and who the traitor is out of sheer desperation. He manages to intervene and saves Lily's life, wounding Voldemort and holding him off long enough for Dumbledore to arrive. Events diverge from there. It's okay for what it is, so long as you accept the first few chapters as acceptable to set up the premise. Has its flaws but I like it. The sequel's several months later as Wizarding Britain deals with a Death Eater breakout and everyone trying to reassemble their shattered lives.

A Doctor Mother PoV of following Contessa, who decides to give her a corrected version of Eidolon's powers right away. It's okay right now, but Chantelle really doesn't feel right to me. It could be interesting and seeing how PtV would handle defeating Scion's a decent hook.
