A Bird and A Goon in the desert

Ryder stands up, feeling much better and less angsty now that he's fully awake, and follows Darx out of the bar, fixing his hair on the way out.

"Yeah, she's gonna be in trouble if we don't do somethin'..."

[Dexie Oblivion]

Darx quickly catches up with Mei, and stops, blinking.

"Leets? Tis a surprise to find you again."

[Shukuen]

"Hello, Darx," Leets returned the greeting warily, noticing Ryder join the group.

"New friend?" he asked, looking at the young woman.

[Dexie Oblivion]

"Hmph, tis just a girl. She's new to this world, as you can probably tell."

[Carthrat]

Mei-Ling mutters something about 'just a man'.

"That is correct," she says, beginning to walk away.

[RyderHakubi]

Ryder waves slightly at Leets with a smile... and speaks, with a fake accent.

"allo Leets, what the 'ell are you doin' 'ere in New Brunswick today?"

[Shukuen]

Leets regarded Ryder blankly for a moment.

"...your accent is horrible."

[Dexie Oblivion]

"Agreed."

Darx grins.

"Let's never have to hear that again, deal?"

[RyderHakubi]

"Fine fine... I won't use that accent again.  Anyway, what are you doing all the way out here Leets?"

[Shukuen]

Leets shrugged, swinging his bag forward to reach into it. "I'm on a working vacation and thought I'd drop by to see how you guys are doing."

"That, and maybe ask if one of you could help train me in this," he said as he pulled out the hilt of his sword.

[Dexie Oblivion]

Darx whistles, his eyes beaming as he eyes the sword.

"Not a bad blade..."

He holds at his hand and grins. "May I?"

[Shukuen]

Leets weighed the consequences of Darx with a sword.

"...only if you stand out of reach of everyone."

[Dexie Oblivion]

"Of course I shall."

[Shukuen]

Leets cautiously passed the sword to Darx before taking a step back.

Ryder immediately teleports to the roof of a nearby building...

"Better safe than sorry."
