"Most likely the beginnings of the fights between the groups. You don't recognize any of them, do you?" Jan agreed as he followed after Leets.

"Weapons," says Mei-Ling, mildly distastefully, but then she brightens up. "Guns.. guns... they aren't too dissimilar to bows, are they? I could bind.. oh.. a fire spirit to the weapon itself, and a wind spirit to the bullets.. if I could find them."

She thinks a little more. "You would need to explain to me how the weapon is built for me to properly enchant it," she says. "And even then.. this isn't a field I have much experience in. If I knew more of the subject, I'm certain I could splice the power in the weapons in the box.

Well, I can't, and that's that."

They looked like just ordinary street punks.  No colors or tags he recognized anyway.  Though why'd they risk fighting in the daytime is beyond him.

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Shukuen

"No clue. They look like a new gang trying to establish themselves to me."

"Seems a little weird with all the major gangs acting up though," Leets added as they continued to the Wright Mansion.

Dracos

Heading over, they found the gates closed.  Strange indeed.  Though sometimes Mr. Wright didn't accept visitors.  Leets could probably find his way in and get some answers though.

Well, Goodbye.

Leets hummed, looking around curiously.

"I wonder what happened to Gregio and the others?" Leets muttered, then led Jan around to the service entrance. Taking care to make sure there wasn't an ambush waiting ahead first.

Halbarad

"I suppose that should work," Clyde nodded. "A gun is more or less like a bow, but a very powerful one - and the 'arrows' are usually quite small. Would that make any difference in the enchantment?"
I am a terrible person.
Excellent Youkai.

Carthrat

"Size doesn't matter, but composition does," replies Mei-Ling, musing. "It's all very irksome. What are the arrows made of?"

Halbarad

"Usually iron or steel - the composition varies a bit, but it's nearly always some sort of metal."
I am a terrible person.
Excellent Youkai.

Carthrat

"Metal isn't difficult to enchant," replies Mei-Ling, shrugging. "Or, rather, the way it's done is relatively common knowledge. I can't see how that would be too difficult.

The problem is that you can only have so many magic arrows. If the weapon alone is enchanted, you'll merely have superior delivery and aim.
To damage something like.. I don't know, a ghost- you'd need to use an enchanted arrow. And if you have to use an enchanted weapon... you probably want it to strike down your opponent in a single hit, lest you are inefficient.

In short, here's the question: would you rather have a few strong arrows, or many weaker ones?"

Heading in, he found the door of the mansion locked, though they could hear something from the back.  Sounded a bit like a religious hymn.

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Shukuen

"Odd. They never locked this door before..."

Leets glanced around for a window not sealed by curtains or blinds.

Dracos

There were plenty, though he didn't see anyone inside.  Sounded like some funeral music was going now in the backyard.

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Shukuen

Leets frowned, following the music.

Dracos

The two of them came to a small funeral procession that was wrapping up.  A coffin was being lowered into the ground within a small plot in the back of the house.  It appeared most the family was present and in attendence participating in the proceedings.
