Appreciation of the day: crazy internet memes, in particular, the Vegeta/9000 meme.

Yesterday I had sent some requested data from my unit to another process engineer who's unit is affected by the process from mine. Today, he comes back and points at the viscosity of asphalt stream, which is fairly high at low temperatures, especifically 9,478 cP at 180°F.

This doesn't look right to me, since at that ridiculous viscosity, that thing shouldn't even be able to flow through the pipes, it's -that- thick.

So I get my supervisor, and we open the simulator to look at the value there with the co-worker looking over our shoulders. Of course, then we have:

Co-worker: "Royce, what does the simulator say the viscosity is?"
Supervisor: "I don't believe it..It's over 9000!"

I just got that meme flashing in my head immediately and almost cracked up so badly in front of my supervisor and that co-worker, barely managing to restrict myself to my lips curling upwards...

Anyhow, we got the issue resolved, but I've still got a silly amused grin on my face from that. ^_^;;;
