MOUSE a journey into larcenous Fanservice

Alright i only have the first DVD, but I figured I'd give a brief review.

First of all this is a FANSERVICE title all the way. Its so full of fanservice its literally just one step away from a porn anime, and it is a very small step indeed.

Mouse is a world renownkend theif in the same boots as Lupin the 3 or D.N.Angel, he is infamous and able to pull off any heist. (indeed his catchphrase "there is nothing mouse cannot steal!")

Of course by day he is a lowly art teacher. BY night supertheif.

And of course there are his three co-workers at the school, who in reality are his three servants. THIS is where the fanservice is really blatant (Aside fromt he fact that every 3rd female must have a panty shot) there is much...jiggling and bouncing as they prance around to 'serve' there master and often in different outfits (In the first two episodes ALONE you see catgirl outfits/maid uniforms/nothing but apron and p.j.s/and there tight skimpy 'work' uniforms)

NAturally when they aren't helping him plan his hiests  theya re trying to get mousse to 'reward' them, and yes this is where it nears the NC-17 stage. Oh and there are a LOT of S&M jokes/gags (Don't get me started on the one concerning the breasts and the roller coaster strap).

charcters tend to be a little under developed, but considering I've only seen the first dvd which is set up in six 15 minute episodes (yes each episode is only 15 minutes)there is a  the charcters should be developed later on. But I porbably wouldn't hold my breath for anything to deep or meanigful.

Aside from his thefts the plot seems to have so far only two things that catch my eye.

1. the subplot of his 'school job' where three girls there seem to have crush for him (they also found out he was mouse, but that got erased from their mind)

2. the two factions int he police department. one faction wants to capture him, the other seems to want to kill him. I suspect this section faciton will eb explored more deeply in the future.

On the plus side the action is rather fast paced, and thus you don't really have any slow times in the series. on the minus its not a deep series so far by any stretch of the imagination.

Still if your look for a good fanservice series thats somewhat amusing, you might want to check it out.
