How is it compared to SD3?

Just got Elite Beat Agents. So far it's just as good as Ouendan and certain areas have been improved on from the previous game.

Gin: SD3 and Children of Mana really can't compare, from what I've heard. SD3 is....SD3, and Children of Mana is a button mashy dungeon crawler.

Anyways....onto FF3 DS for me.

Children of Mana is Diablo.  With mana characters.  It's not really that good and ends a good 5 hours AFTER it should've.  Stupid "AND NOW A NEW FINAL BOSS APPEARS" shit.  A baby too.  What the fuck were they smoking?

Anyhow, was playing Neverwinter nights 2.  Computer ac adapter is busted though so that's stopped.

Was also playing FFVA, same problem there though.

Made it a bit further in contact.  Still fun in small bursts and great during long lectures.

Started Tales of the Abyss this morning.  Loathe the main character and what they did with the sorcerer's ring was meh.  I don't have a problem with the main from a concept level but damn, do they need to have him be a complete ass to demonstrate his 'out of sheltered life' shit?  Come on!  It's enough to inspire an article on overdone waste of flesh starts in order to increase the range of improvement.  They've really gotten to taking it too far.  Just got free run, but it's not been so useful thus far.

Ordered FF3 and Xenosaga 3 this morning.  Amazon made another sale over ebgames increasingly cruddy interface.

As I said, Drac, it takes about 20-25 hours for Abyss to start getting playable and for Luke to stop being such an asshat. :/

Free Run does get useful though, mainly for avoiding magic.

Anyway, balancing between FF3 and Children of Mana now.

Unless you are playing with friends, stop wasting your time with CoM.  It really never changes from where it is, so it's largely best with friends.

I moved back to ZoE 2 (second run) because I hated Luke.

I also don't like anyone else in the party..  But Luke is phenomenially bad.  What the fuck were they thinking:

I have been playing Final Fantasy XII.  TH=he game is actually quite a lot of fun.  While I was not particularly impressed with the demo, I do think the full game is a lot of fun.  The fact that the voice acting is skillfully done makes it all the better.
