Finished Ar Tonelico.

It ends with a whimper and not a bang.

Started Soul Nomad.

It starts with a beaurcrat and not an on button.

Dear god, give me some meaningful decisions!  I can equip items, but they vanish?  I can use abilities, but  I have no idea how long they last  and they take a turn.    I have a button that abolishes ten or more minutes of work.  Everything is set up to grind...and NOTHING so far merits it.  I can toy with things and it really doesn't MATTER.  I either squish enemies or they lucky kill me.  I'm like eight fights in.  Come on.
Well, Goodbye.

A little Bleach: Shattered Blade (not bad. A whole HELL of a lot better than the gamecube and PSP Bleach games. I mean, damn but those sucked ass.) and a lot of Super Mario Galaxy. This game is seriously testing my meager multitasking skills.

Ginrai

Just started on Super Mario Galaxy and so far it's more than lived up to the hype.

Only slight complaint I have at this time is that they reset the lives every time you restart a game.

thepanda

Honestly Gin, they give you 5 lives every time you log in, there are three 1-ups lying around the base, AND you can easily get the 50 coins/star chips to get another 1-up. If they didn't reset, you'd end up with hundreds of men which kind of takes the challenge out of the game.

Dexie Oblivion

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker

It on a scale of "Eh" to "Meh", it gets a "Feh". It's just not impressing me and I'm not enjoying it. I'll keep pushing a bit further though, maybe it'll improve.

Really enjoyed Tara's Wonderland on the GBC a LOT more than I'm liking this...
Pet my snake, pet my ssssnaaaake. :P

Dracos

I hadn't played a DQM game before, but I enjoyed this a lot more than most pokemon titles.  It really stagnated though midgame and fell apart endgame.  It failed on the two basic principles of a monster raising game: Keeping your cool personally named (Hint) monsters around and providing a solid mechanism for multiplayer.  The fact that at the end, they don't provide a fun way to break the game open ended it.  I didn't want to grind anywhere to monster merge.  It was over.

If you're not liking it now, Dex, just go ahead and stop.  It won't get any better.

Currently playing Baldur's Gate 2 and DQ8.  Just wiped out bohdi's layer this morning after conquering all of amn's strongholds.  Yes, I'm crazy.  I think overall, the thief one gives the best payoff gold wise and the fighter one gives the best payoff roleplaying wise.  Hum.  Crap, i forgot to finish Jaheira's plot before leaving chapter 2.  In my defense, those harpers are godawfully slow to trigger.  I seriously hope they don't obnoxiously show up mid-dungeon during 4 or 5 before you get back to amn.  That'd really suck.

In dragon quest, I'm still around trodain.  Haven't made much progress since I finished beating the BG2 modpack.
Well, Goodbye.

Dexie Oblivion

Yeah, setting it aside. Might go trade it in sometime. Eh, meh.

Til then, I'm going through the later stages of Galaxy and starting Trauma Center: New Blood.

Ragnar

Damn, I really wanted to like Joker. Oh well. I'll probably get it anyway. I've been meaning to look for DQM 2, though.
I should finish DQ 8, too.

"BUT THOU MUST!"

DannyCat|somewhere: Watch out, Huitzil. Encredible froce is being swang here.

Dexie Oblivion

Traded Joker in for Zack and Wiki: The Quest for Barbaros' Treasure.

Freakin' awesome game, if maddeningly difficult at times.
Pet my snake, pet my ssssnaaaake. :P

thepanda

Beat Mario Galaxy. Now I just have to beat it some more. >_>

Dexie Oblivion

Alternating between Mario Galaxy, Persona 3, Zack and Wiki, and Geometry Wars: Galaxy.

Dexie Oblivion

The DS version is pretty much Smash TV DS, which is neat.

The Wii version, however, when combined with a Classic Controller, is one of the most addictive games I have ever played. Is it worth the $40? Ehh...I think it would have been better as a $30 release, but given how much time I've put into it, I think I've gotten my money's worth. :p

NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams.

It's...bad. Really bad. It's insultingly bad.

Sega should have left the NiGHTS franchise alone instead of tarnishing it with this crap.
Pet my snake, pet my ssssnaaaake. :P

Dracos

Tales of the Abyss.

I blame dune.

The rest of you too.

But dune was ever present, "PLAAAY IIIIT"
Well, Goodbye.
