Let me be the first to say this... This series is crap. Pure and simple. The music is crap. The art is crap. The voice acting is crap. Oh and the character designs are some of the worst I've seen in a long time. I tried to watch thru episode 1 raw and I couldn't even make it to the end. The seiyuu who voices the main character needs to have acid poured on his vocal cords. His voice is so damned annoying! >_<

Overall this show is highly not recommended. This isn't like Kannaduki no Miko, the previous Kaishaku work that was animated, that some found good because it was so bad. The "camp" factor so to speak. Unfortunately for Kagihime that isn't remotely the case. This series is just bad. Pure and simple.
