Kaoru

[Bean Bandit]

Bean's heart leapt up into her throat. That would be VERY bad, at the moment...I'm much better than I was, but I can't be up to par with the real Kaoru... she paused for a moment. Okay, I did NOT just think that. Back to that, later...how can I distract him?

She bent down slightly and put a hand on his forehead. "Are you sure you're not seasick anymore?" Bad gamble...I can't remember if it was him or me...I mean Kaoru...But, If I guessed right, he should react badly to being mothered...I hope.

She no longer even noticed that she had begun referring to herself as female again...

[Carthrat]

"Kaoru... I'm fine. YOU were the one who was seasick. Are *you* ok?" he replied somewhat snidely. "Or are you just wimping out?"

[Bean Bandit]

Bean ground her teeth together. "I was NOT seasick." she snapped, and before she could stop herself, cuffed Yahiko in the back of the head. Why the hell did I do that?

"But...you're right. Okay. Let's go." She replied, snatching up a nearby mop, and holding it like a bokken.

I'm...excited. she thought to herself wonderingly. But, Yahiko's pretty good at this point...I wonder if I'm good enough to beat him?

Yahiko grinned, and snatched up a mop of his own.

With a loud shout, he came towards Kaoru with a simple overhead strike.

[Bean Bandit]

Bean smiled lopsidely, a small grin forming on her face.

"Hya!" She shouted, bringing the mop up in a simple horizontal block, but before she robbed Yahiko's 'sword' of all it's momentum, she tilted it at an angle, allowing Yahiko's weapon to slide off of hers and away.

Before he could regain his stance, she snapped a short strike at his chest, not really expecting it to strike, but hoping to be able to cauge his reaction time.

"Hyaaa!"

"Gak!"

Yahiko managed to twist his mop to deflect Kaoru's- barely.

Regaining his footing, he held his blade in a guard position, waiting for Kaoru to act..

[Bean Bandit]

Bean grinned and sidestepped, dropping the mop low and bringing it around in a fast, rising slash, aimed for Yahiko's shoulder.

My god...I'm WAY faster than I was....

"Hya!"

[Carthrat]

Yahiko turned and blocked the strike, but was distracted...

...by the clapping and cheering of a group of American tourists!

Bean started, and whipped around, her face going several shades of red.

"Ah...heh heh heh...."

[Carthrat]

Yahiko did the same, and whispered in her ear;

"I can't fight anymore.."

Bean nodded uneasily, eyeing the cheering spectators.

"Me either...what do we do?"

[Carthrat]

"Eh.. pretend?"

Yahiko began tapping Kaoru's mop, a weak grin on his face.

Bean did the same, feeling like a complete idiot. And blushing bright red.

*Sighs* The indignities never stop. I wonder if someone's cursed me?
