Okay was browsing around and borrowed a copy of a anime called Eiken.

This anime first of all must be recognized as pure fanservice, just one small step below full out ecchi anime.

Supposedly the 1 hour anime is based around a group of oddballs that form up something called the Eiken Club. Of which our hapless male hero is forced to join after he accidently gropes the 'massive tracts of land' of one of the clubs shyer members.

Of the memebers of the club, almost all are curvy witht he exception of the pre-pubescent genius, and the 'little sister' of the main male charcter (and even then it seems the latter tends to switch into curvy mode on occasion). Not to mention there are numerous ridicolous huge melons on several of the main charcters.

I didn't bother learning their names since it was A) a fanservice video, and B) a bad one.

The story is naturally fairly nonexistent. THe main charcter joins the Eikan club, accidently embarasses the big boobed shy girl he's attracted to, decides to join the big school event and win prize money to buy a birthday gift to make up for it.

Not very deep, but then again its a fanservice anime. You don't buy this to discuss in philosphy class the next day. At this point it could still be a decent rental/purchase, any half decent anime writer should be able to pull it off. Focus on wacky hijinks, with a happily ever after moment at the end.

Eiken does not do this. Eiken decides to cram in plots and characters left and right, until at the end of the show I felt like I had purchased episode 3 of a 12 part series... with the first part of the episode missing. I actually did triple check the box after watching it to make sure i Hadn't just bought part 1 or 2.

You literally have charcters that you think might eb at least semi-important appear for only 2-3 scenes and then enver heard from again. Makeing you wonder why the hell the writers bothered, when such people could be removed entirely. (Most annoying winner of this catagory? The friggin bear mascot that pops up twice in the background making a cute noise and then is never seena gain.... despite being ont he frigging cover of the DVD >_<)

This is a series which could have been improved 100% if they had done 1 of 2 things: 1) cut out many of the plot points *like the blue haired perosn here to 'save' the main female lead* or 2) added on 30 minutes to better pace out the story, or at least introduce the charcters a little bit.

On the plus side there is a lot of T & A and bounciness. Not to mention a fairly decent scene going down the yogurt slide *which is in fact probably the high point of the video...sad*.

On the downside you can't enjoy it very much because your to busy trying to figure out who this new guyt hey introduced is, where did charcter X go, Wait was that a refrence to something earlier, and/or are they ever going to show Charcter X again?.

I did not think I would ever see a Anime that was shallower than MOUSE charcterwise (And MOUSE at least was fairly decently paced), I have been proven wrong.

A 1 out of 5 (for the Yogurt slide). Not even worth a rental. My advice? Go online and find a clip of hte Yogurt slide scene and just download that.

Well, that's a kinder notion than I'd think.  You watched all of Eiken?  I didn't think that was worth even that level of regard.

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Yeah, this was all sorts of bad, and I like fanservice. While they were obviously going for an over the top parody, it didn't work (as opposed to cool parodies like Shinesman and Dragon Half). It wasn't even the 'plot elements' that bothered me so much as using large breasts as a joke can only work for so long before you want something else. I mean, I saw it for nothing at a con, and was sorry I did. It was that bad.

I give it a 2 out of 10, only because it was stupid but didn't offend.
