Dune: THese are just discussion things we tossed up.  Iddy was sort of busy.  mostly ideas.  You mentioned you were  going to put up local magic items, so...read through this beforehand?  Then put it here.

Possibilities for discussion:
Names ordered by randomness.  Items ordered by priority of nifty.

Gavin:
Warhorse (assuming knighthood isn't providing, which I sort of hope they  are)
Magic sword?
gauntlets of OGRE STRENGTH! >_> <_<
Um... well, if I KNEW we could afford it, I would've just gone full plate as it feels really silly to have just paid for plate with 6000+ gold lying about to afford the end stuff.
dex boost item?

Darius:
??- GEMS
no serious answer gotten yet

Saul:
Warhorse
Elven chainmail

Seryf:
dex-boost item?
Warhorse
str boost item?
Magic-bow?

Elaine:
Elvan chainmail.
Harp
healing potions
magic daggers
dex boost item?
something that lets spells cast with armor?
Something neat for class kit
Well, Goodbye.

Anastasia

Gavin:

The warhorse will be rolled into the knight thing. I may assess a minor fee overall. Magic sword? Something to look into procuring some way or another(Admittedly Gavin's defensive focus is showing in that regard.)

Full plate? Okay. The minimum is 4,000 GP. This is fine for the level of campaign we're running. Let's assume the following scenario: Early in production the platemail is changed to full plate. This adds on a 25 Griffon surcharge due to minor adjustments needed, but it's easier than scrapping the platemail at a loss and starting over. The knights will defray half of it through various means of production, so this leaves a 2025 fee in Gavin's court. If he's willing to scrimp and keep the design to simple carvings and non precious inlays, it can drop to 1825 minimum.

Gauntlets of Ogre strength? Well, if you really want to try and find a pair, feel free to talk to Saul. G'luck! <_< (Noted!)

Darius:

Mmm. Let's see how he's looking after this tribal stuff, as well as after returning to Paxburg. He has no notable need for a horse, either. Go Serith!

Saul:

Warhorse is easy enough. A little pricey but simplistic in the extreme. As for elven chain? Make friends at the Elf Garrison or start su-er, kissing up to the right people/hunting around. IT's really one of those 'who you know or kill' sort of things.

Seryf:

I'm going to deflect partially here, as she's in mid adventure/potential item get. Warhorse is viable, as well as boosting dex and str. Both are always good, especially if Seryf can crack 19 strength. Alternately, look into some form of HP boosting.

Elaine:

Yeaaaah, she's behind. Let's catch her up and see where she stands.

Iron Dragoon

The gems thing was more of a way to make life easier. It's easier to carry around 10 gems that are worth 500 gold than it is to carry 5000 gold coins. Easier to keep track of, too.

As for stuff for Darius.. Eh, there's not a lot he needs.. *Maybe* some +saves stuff, but over all, he's doin' fine without anything extra right now.
This is not the greatest post in the world, no... this is just a tribute.

Anastasia

Also easier to steal, Darius. <_<

1) Melf' Minute Meteors is as-written? That 1000gp component is ass. >_>

2) Sandalphons Unerring Projectile is?

3) Solving the Wizard's Problem is?

Mmm. 1,000 GP is a bit much for it. 500 GP to make the tube but it's reusable as noted.

Sandalphon's Unerring Projectile seems to be a potent, single bolt of energy. It garners power based on the might of the caster's spirit.

Solving the Wizard's problem is a simple enchantment that makes you more likable and appealing.

Saul's spirit is pretty strong!

I'll buy Sandalphon's Unerring Projectile, Melf's Minute Meteors, and the material component.

We have a couple of healing potions from that reward we claimed earlier, so I'll trade in that.

Otherwise, 1255 GP for the other spell. Any objections from anyone?

Moved from communal loot:

All of a sudden, we have over 6000gp to spend on stuff.

The question is, on what? I have some ideas.

1) Horses. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'd like the additional mobility.

2) Wagon? This is dependant on the sort of stuff Demetrius wants us to look for, actually- we get a lot of increased carrying capacity, but we are more likely to be made targets of.

3) Armour. Full Plate Mail- good stuff, especially now that some of us can afford it. We can get barding for our horses, too, though this is starting to get steep.

I don't think they sell elven chain. Pity.

4) Weapons. Make sure we're all kitted out here, too- bows, lances, axes, clubs, whatever.

5) Magic. Dune's posting an updated list of stuff we can buy from the mage guild- I'll obviously be interested in additional scrolls, but they sell healing potions and certain interesting items, too, and it's as good a place as any to poke around.

6) Retirement. I don't intend to, just yet, but you could live crazy comfortably off a 1250gp fund. >_>

Well, Goodbye.

Carthrat

Continuing in my quest to spend every last gold piece (just kidding), I have yet more stuff I need to throw at you guys for approval.

1) I want a budget to scribe scrolls with. In particular, I want 300gp to scribe two scrolls of Searing Ashes of the Cremated, a single-target spell that relies on a particular material component to determine damage. I've got two charges of that component that should boost the spell damage to 3 or 4d8. (Save for half, but all my spells have a -1 to enemy saves.)

I don't need to scribe too many first level spells, but I wouldn't mind scribing the ones you don't use that often, like gaze reflection and that. The ring of wizardry means I don't really need to walk around with a bandoleer of magic missiles. >_>

2) I want to buy a scroll of burning hands. It'll cost a healing potion (we have two), or 118 gp. I'd rather spend the gold, but up to you if I'm even allowed to do this or not.
