PLUSHIE SENSES TINGLING!!

I have a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad feeling about this anime...

It's like watching a bad ingredients list, where on its own, it'd be pleasing, but mashed together as it is...

Tablespoon of Big-O robo action
Pinch of kissing contracts from Negima
Dash of body melding a la Birdy the Mighty

That's just a small sampling of content that leaves us with one of Akane's Red Hot Tentacle Gumbo Surprise.

<_<

>_>

Yeah.  I'm opting not to touch this series after the 1st episode.
Liddo-kun: Bjorn is the rain gutter in which all the dirty thoughts of humanity flow into?
Bjorn: I prefer, instead, to think of myself as the crap that blocks the rain gutters, causing the dirty thoughts of humanity to back up, fill the streets, and flood your basements.

What I like about this series:

Al Azif

I'll think of other things later... I promise... not.

What I dislike:
The acting feels forced, contrived and weak. The only real exception is the performance of Al Azif's Seiyuu. Unfortunately even her performance starts off on the weak side.

The plot is contrived.

The opening theme, not used in episode 1 mind you but I have heard the full version, is insipidly lame. Why couldn't they use "Evil Shine"? >_<

Overall it's a rather weak start.

I'm going to give it another episode or two to see how things develop but I'm going to prepare myself to be gravely disappointed. ;_;

Well I finished watching this series a while back. It does improve as it progresses but for the most part it is hardly anything to write home about. Overall a decent series by the end in my opinion.

Oh and for the record this doesn't mean I recommend it. I simply feel it's worth noting that it does improve. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Sincerely,
Shuten
