It's the holiday that a couple takes just after they get married, or the period of... well... harmonious co-existence that occurs at the start of a a new relationship (not necessarily a pair of people, a new CEO could have a honeymoon period with his board of Directors or something, for instance).

It doesn't mean anything in context there, it's just sugar.
