"They've been sneaking in during the night.  We've posted guards but somehow there's some taken every night."

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Merc

"But basically you aren't certain that it's them then, just that someone has been sneaking past your guards," Felix comments at that answer, agreeing with Leets given what Koren chose to reply at the query.
<Cidward> God willing, we'll all meet in Buttquest 2: The Quest for More Butts.

Shukuen

"What kind of crops do you harvest?" Leets asked curiously. Maybe it would clue them in to why the Rascals were suspects.

Dracos

"Corn, wheet, tomatoes, grain," he replied, a bit perturbed at their response, his lips frowning a bit.

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Shukuen

"And they just vanish from storage?" Leets asked curiously. "Not left behind already eaten?"

Dracos

"Correct, and no other group of people is nearby.  A single person would have no use for such quantities as has gone missing."

The man was growing a bit calmer as he discussed it with them, a sort of grudging respect for the businesslike manner they had been maintaining.

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Iron Dragoon

"Disappearin'? You sure there ain't no others 'round? Travelers, nomads or somethin'? Animals, maybe? I seen plenty 'a critters back on 'tha ranch that could tear a hole in stores, if you ain't wise 'ta their ways.."
This is not the greatest post in the world, no... this is just a tribute.

Olvelsper

"And, do you believe we could inspect the warehouse for such damages? Or any other ways that the foodstuffs could've been extracted from the building?"

"A single person, huh, so a lot has goine missing in one night then," Leets repeated, adding to the growing list. While it wasn't enough to convict the Rascals, it certainly didn't argue their innocence.

"When did they first start vanishing? Has anything strange happened before the food started getting stolen?"

Dracos

"The travelers who recently entered there village and the emisary from the south are the only ones who have been in the area recently," The man shrugged.  "You may investigate if it brings an end to it.  It's been about a week."

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Shukuen

"Hm. The emissary, what did they come here for?" Leets asked curiously, as they were the only unknown currently involved.

Dracos

"Some empire to the south wanted us to become part of it by alliance, but we of Koren stand alone and have no need of things from far off empires."  Koren looked almost offended by the thought of being subservient to another city.

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Shukuen

Leets nodded, absorbing the facts, though puzzled at how they fit together. "All right, I suppose there's nothing left but to try and catch your 'culprits' in the act," he said, sparing a glance at the others. "That all right with you all?"

Dracos

"Go ahead, you'd have my thanks if you manage it."

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Olvelsper

"Hm. Let's head out and inspect it, then. Have a good day." Jan nodded towards the elder as they headed off to the fields. "I think that empire to the south might have a lot to gain if they swept in and tried to help these people if they were missing food."
