A certain #SR discussion inspired this.  Be it books (illicit or not), inspiration, neat helpers, whatnot, where do you hunt?  And what have you found?

Intended to be a thread to link useful things.  To get things off, the well known http://www.d20srd.org/

#bw on the nullus server has had #bw-rpg folded into it (more or less).

Rat's fserver!

Failing that...

Google!

<Cidward> God willing, we'll all meet in Buttquest 2: The Quest for More Butts.

Unfortunately, hard copy for me all the way.  I'll hit up friends online for digital copies after the fact (I feel entitled, once I own a physical book <_<;), but I guess I'm a bit of a purist since I work at a bookstore.
I handle other fanfic authors Nanoha-style.  Grit those teeth!  C&C incoming!
Prepare to be befriended!

Nothing wrong with being a hard copy purist. Some books are even easier to go through in a hard copy format as opposed to a digital format even. HERO, for example, is a book where you -really- need a hard copy.

Most novels are also just more pleasing to read through as a hard copy. There's something to be said for the feeling of turning a page as opposed to using the mouse to scroll ahead.

Unfortunately, the bookstores around my place are all just plain sucky for roleplaying material. The only one that even has anything is the one in the mall, which has the d&d core books and a small selection of supplement books, as well as maybe four tristat books. That's about it, though.

I'm just not interested enough to go through the process of asking them to order the books I do want and then having to drive over to buy them, either. I've just found it to be overall less hassle to get things off Rat's fserver, even if I do prefer hard copy books.

I used to get hard copies a lot more before college when I had live groups.

I like to own a hard copy - I own one of the SMRPG(A friend never returned it -_-. Bastard.)  and for pretty much everything 2nd edition AD and D. Past that I'm looser, I don't mind scoring some online. When so I'll usualyl use Rat's Fserve or Drac's collection.

<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

This isn't intended just for books, but also for general resources otherwise.  Good fantasy sites, etc.

http://www.pantheon.org/ : I haven't used it in a while, but when I'm going for a mythic tone or whatnot, I remember this site being pretty good to grab from or think at.
