* What's the most involved you've ever been in a game? How often was it played/how into it were you? Conversely, if you GM, what's the most absorbing or biggest game you've ran and how do you feel about it?

COR.  And all the god damn time.  I think in that one it helped a bit that I did more like 10 posts for each one by the players at times.  I don't really do that even remotely anymore, but it kept a running narrative of what was going on villian side as well as other sides of the game.

* Do you like being deeply absorbed into games? Is there a point where you've gone too far or wanted to go farther than the group? What about when you realise you need to step back?

I tend to like some absorbtion.  Some extra playing of the character.  I tend to call the line when folks start forgetting it's a game.  It's really no longer fun for me at that point, whether or not something bad results of it as it tends to demand keeping up with the inevitable person who has 40 hours a week to spare.

* Would you rather play/run in one big game or several smaller games?

Smaller ones.  I tend to do 2-4.   *shrugs8

COR! ^_^

COR is basically the only game that I wasn't in and bothered reading ^_^

But even then I didn't really read much.  Read some and decided there's way too much.  Post fiends ;p

1. Without a doubt, Redux Arc 1 for past games, Redux in general otherwise. Its an absorbing, obsessive monster of an RPG if you choose to dive into it as much as some of us have. Every day, soemtimes more than one room at once, and occasionally in 5-8 hour marathons that left the whole mind reeling and reality in this washed out state of ill repair.

2. ...Honestly? I've never reached a limit where I feel I'm TOO into something. It tends to drive me, and a lot of the time, I'm a fairly...apathetic, or simply even just lazy person. Getting deep into something and finding something I can throw energy into has never been a bad thing once I get my head going.

3. Really, I'd rather get my hands on one big game. Breaks in routine  are nice, but I preffer the ability to dive head first into what I'm doing. See #2.

I get absorbed into any game with enough interesting happening, be that in game happening or out of game happening.

You can guess TDAT is the game I've been most absorbed in.

I haven't been really absorbed in particularly many of the games I've played, actually.

Aside from that only Bleg (delphi version) and DoD spring to mind.

However, I get absorbed into other non-forum games in the same way.  WoW springs to mind.
Hangin' out backstage, waiting for the show.
