In this bleak look at the dystopian future of "Pokemon," bandit raiders use Pokemon to devastate lone villages, the very fabric of society itself is torn asunder by the Pokemon League, and Jubei Kibagami/Ash "Ruroni" Ketchum leads a lonely existence as a Black Pikachu-wielding badass! In between bouts with corrupt Pokemon Trainers, action sequences taken from other anime, and long meaningful silences, this new, improved (?) Ash can only stop angsting long enough to pry slutty aquamancer Misty off of him! I wish I knew more about Pokemon (...okay, no I don't) so I could fully understand exactly what the hell is going on here, and why it gives "Pokemon" fans fits! No, this isn't your little brother's Pokemon, because your little brother's Pokemon was for kids!

S.D. <over intercom>: What difference does it make?
RACE <over intercom>: Well, y'know. I'm torn now, and stuff.
[S.D. sighs.]
RACE <over intercom>: Whoops. Intercom's on.
