Saviours, the game!

The man slowly stands.  "The castle.  Through the portal." He pointed at the image on the ground when speaking.

[Figment]

"I think you'd best be sitting down again," Devon says in a low voice as he points his pistol at the man.

[kpjam]

The man looked ruefully at the pistol and slid down the wall.  He bowed his head submissively when seated.

[Dracos]

"What is that?"  O'karn glanced curiously at the odd contraption.  "And human, who's castle and how many scrawny humans are through it and how does this blasted thing work?"

[kpjam]

"It's a base.  The castle is my masters.  There lots of puny humans.  It works by magic.  You can use it by stepping in the middle."  He answered quickly.

[Figment]

"This is a weapon," Devon says in an aside to O'karn before focusing on the man again. "Describe the room on the other end of this portal."

[kpjam]

The man groaned quietly in pain.  "The other end is a courtyard on the castle grounds near the barracks."

[Dracos]

O'karn lifts the soon-to-be-dead man up none too gently by the throat, "We check out now or smash portal.  I don't want human rats slitting my throat while I sleep.  This man be our shield.  Any disagreements?"  O'karn snorted.

The capture soldier grunts in obvious pain as his legs dangle free.

[Figment]

"None here," Devon says while making sure that his sword is free of obstruction to allow for a rapid draw and that the extra power packs for his pistol are readily available.

[Dracos]

O'karn steps into the portal, deadman first.

Daggedal hurries to the portal, using a quick divination to make sure it's safe to go through before progressing.

[Figment]

Devon cautiously follows O'karn, pistol at the ready.

[kpjam]

The others watched as O’karn disappeared soundlessly.  Waiting a moment, Daggedal follows after, then Devon.  Watching as the others leave, Remdos quickly follows, not really knowing what else to do.

Miaka begins to stride forward, but entering is not something she has decided upon, yet.

The world flashes white to all.  O’karn finds himself in an open space.  He doesn’t have time to admire the view as the undeniable sound of steel being drawn draws his attention to the men running at him.

[Dracos]

O'karn grins the ever-wide grin of the eternally bloodthirsty, his hand lashed out, flinging the body in it hard in the direction of the noise of steel.  Fluidly, he stepped forward, grabbing his real sword and drawing it forth, preparing to do a sweeping strike to push back any fools who dare charge him while he oriented himself about the room.
