O'karn frowned, "From where?!"

The boy cringes and raises a shaky arm towards his fallen companion.  "From over their.  The entrance to the tunnels is that way."  He speaks with a shaky voice and clattering teeth.

[Dracos]

O'Karn smiles toothily, "And the tunnels lead right into your base?  No traps?  Because you wouldn't be holding out on such important information like how many of you scrawny humans are guarding it?"  O'karn patted the boy's shoulder.

[kpjam]

The boy fainted.

[Merc]

Remdos, who has been keeping quiet, figures now's as good a time as any to get his last arrow back. As there were more answers that could probably be extracted from the boy, he tries to kill two birds with one stone.

"Excuse me..." Remdos says to O'karn as he steps closer to the boy and yanks the arrow out hard from his shoulder, hoping the pain will wake him back up.

The boy lets out a ear piercing shriek before he slumped over panting.

[Dracos]

O'karn smiles cruely, watching.  Obviously nearby if the boy decides to be troublesome.

Dracos

[Carthrat]

Daggedal raises an eyebrow. "'ell, that 'ooked painful. Give 'im a minute to wake up before we make 'im, or 'ell just faint again," he says.

[kpjam]

The three continue to hear the ragged breathing and soft moaning of the prisoner.

[Dracos]

OOC: Okay, come on guys, someone has to play the seminice dude to my evil villian ^_^
IC:

O'karn grunts, "Weak human boy.  Any of my kinsmen's children would be up in half this time."

Dracos

[Merc]

OOC: Isn't that what Rat is doing by giving him time to recover? Besides, why do you need a good cop? Instead of a good cop/bad cop routine, go for the bad cop/worse cop routine ^_^

IC:

Remdos shrugs as he wipes the blood off the arrow's shaft.

"He'll live, if you really want to keep questioning him, nothing's stopping you," he says as he puts the metal arrow away.

"We won't lose any more time waiting for him to wake up whenever he bloody faints than we are now."

[Carthrat]

Daggedal nods his agreement. "'sides, we may'swell wait for are scoots to com back," he says.

After sitting around and waiting for a while, Remdos and Daggedal spy three people appear in the distance over the plateau.

Daggedal squints, to get a better look at them to see if they're friend or foe.

[kpjam]

Daggedal's squinty does little to improve his vision.  But he does see three people, two females and one male.  The male he can vaquely recognize as their scout, Devon.  The females, he thinks he recognizes from when they first arrived and dinner, but the lack of familiarity he has with them could make this an instance of wishful recognition.
