Carth's magical adventure, ROUND TWO, MOTHERFUCKERS!

[Anastasia]

THe 'keeper', a oldish man dressed in jeans and a white shirt, walks along with a single goon. The goon towers over the shorter man.

Both walk to the door, turning their backs to you as the goon keycards the door.

[Carthrat]

Carthrat moves behind the goons and follows them into the room, being exceedingly careful not to bump into them by mistake.

[Anastasia]

Inside, you see the goons are still camped out on the bed.  The kids perk up slightly at the sight of the keeper, but are still subdued.

"Okay, boys, you can come out now," the goon with the keeper says. With nods and smiles, the other goons get off the bed and begin to exit out.

[Carthrat]

Carthrat raises his eyebrows in consternation as the children perk up when they see the keeper. If he's brainwashed them or something.. fuck.

Carthrat is careful to not be stepped on by any goons or anything, and hangs around in the room to see what happens next.

[Anastasia]

The man, a oddly slim and short bald man, smiles.

"Go to sleep children, I have a visitor to talk to," he says softly. The children obey, laying down and sleeping almost instantly.  

"So...playing the hero, are we?" he asks outloud. "I can feel your mind; you are quite strong." he says as he walks over and sits on the bed.

[Carthrat]

Carthrat lazily points his gun at the man. "I'm sure your next words will be reasons why I shouldn't kill you, do talk."

[Anastasia]

The man laughs. "Actually, I was merely going to offer you money to leave this alone, but I doubt you or the other will I feel with you would agree to that," he says, laying fully out on the comfortable bed. "So...what are you going to do?" he asks, lazily.

[Carthrat]

Rachel? But she's not with me.. if she's followed me here..

Carthrat answers by pulling the trigger.

[Anastasia]

The bullet strikes a barrier inches from the man's skin and stops cold. It then rockets back at you, stopping only when it impacts your own barrier.

"I see," he says. "Well, you may be able to bust up one set of goons, but can you deal with what the Yakuza will do?" he asks, undisturbed by the bullet. "But do save your bullets for them, and not waste them on me."

[Carthrat]

"And to think I came to Tokyo hoping for a vacation," replies Carthrat. "I trust you'll be leaving now, unless you'd enjoy a more penetrating experiance.

Unless someone of your abilities is truly relegated to such a menial job.."

[Anastasia]

"We all have our...setbacks, sir," he says, still not moving. "But yes, I do not think I could overcome both you and your other will." He sits up. "Would you kindly open the door for me?" he asks. "I would like to leave now that the...day is lost."

[Carthrat]

"But sir, I am a mere disembodied voice. How can one such as I open the door?" replies Carthrat.

[Anastasia]

He laughs softly, a odd sound from his mouth. "Sir, do you think to fool me? Well, no matter." With a motion of his hand, the door opens. "If you will excuse me, I should seek less incriminating surroundings." He walks past you and towards the door...

[Carthrat]

"And you'll do me the favour of waking up the children before you leave," continues Carthrat, levelling his newly-drawn Disrupter at the man.

[Anastasia]

He doesn't even stop, but he does speak. "As you wish." he says as he walks out.  A moment later, a chorus of screams, cries and shouts of terror echo in your ears as the children wake up.  To your horror, tears flow down their faces as they break into heartbreaking sobs, many curling up into fetal positions.
