Carth's magical adventure, ROUND TWO, MOTHERFUCKERS!

[Anastasia]

"It's not all that different than mainstream Earth then, right?" she asks. shrugging and blushing.

[Carthrat]

Carthrat pauses, and chuckles. "I suppose not. But I don't know where you should start."

[Anastasia]

"Maybe with the gladiators?" she asks. "That one you fought looked both poor and lame," she comments.

[Carthrat]

Carthrat thinks..

"You know, you probably don't even need to charge them," he says. "They probably don't have any money, anyway. Who knows, they might idolise you in the end."

[Anastasia]

Rachel blinks a moment, and then frowns. "Eh....maybe, but I don't now if can handle that. I'm not a fully trained priestess, and..." she sighs. "No, perhaps I should save that idea for later."

[Carthrat]

"Nonsense!" exclaims Carthrat. "What's the point in having abilities if you don't use them? Training only goes so far, you know. Even if you use a few flashy spells and then resort to first aid, they'll have more faith in your abilities."

[Anastasia]

She shrugs, the wind obviously taken out of her sails. "Well, let's worry about it later, okay? Are you done with this for the day?"

[Carthrat]

Carthrat shrugs. "No, I think I'll fight three more times today. See, once I've won four fights, I can move up to the next bracket. If nothing else, it'll take care of our immeidate money problems."

[Anastasia]

"Alright, Carthrat. Good luck...oh, and hm." she pauses. "Hold still for a moment?" she asks, clutching something in her pocket.

[Carthrat]

"Yes?" asks Carthrat, smiling a little.

[Anastasia]

She takes out a small glass vial of water, and dabs your shoulders with a drop each, mumbling under her breath. "This is a minor enchantment, but it should aid you a bit." she smiles.

[Carthrat]

"What does it do?" asks Carthrat.

[Anastasia]

"It invokes the power of your spirit to focus your mind and body to a higher level. In other words, it makes you a bit stronger at combat," she says.

[Carthrat]

"Oh? Focuses my mind? Will it help me do my maths homework?" asks Carthrat, quizically.

[Anastasia]

"It might help a bit, but it's designed to be most effective in combat." she smiles, but her smile is a bit off. "It's funny on how many clerical spells are dedicated to combat or dealing with the effects of combat," she muses.
