Carth's magical adventure, ROUND TWO, MOTHERFUCKERS!

[Carthrat]

"Huh. He must be pretty hard up if he's working around here," replies Carthrat.

[Anastasia]

"Dunno. He seems to bleed credits if ya stab him, so..." he shrugs. "Speakin' of that, I'm late for work again. Fuck," he murmurs.

"Thanks for everythin', but I really need to haul my ass to my job if I don't want to end up in that alley again. Later, 'Rat and Rachel," he waves as he runs out as fast as his bruised body will manage.

[Carthrat]

"Ah, the calls of a regular job," says Carthrat, chuckling. "How I don't miss those times at all."

[Anastasia]

Rachel watches him go, and once he's gone: "Well. You heard him getting beaten up all the way from outside the alley," she asks. "I didn't hear a thing myself."

[Carthrat]

"Whenever evil threatens, the call of justice goes out to all who can hear," exclaims Carthrat, striking a pose.

[Anastasia]

*Snicker*

*Giggle*

"Heh...heh....Hahahahahahahaha!" Rachel falls apart laughing at your unexpected bravado and the following pose. "But...hehheh...did you really...snicker....manage to hear him? Good...hahah....ears."

[Carthrat]

"Of course not," replies Carthrat. "My eyes are my best natural sense, not my ears. It's the amulet, of course."

[Anastasia]

After spending a few moments to compose herself, "Oh, White Glow. Well, I guess that makes sense." she nods.

[Carthrat]

"Yeah, well, it's exceedingly good at getting me into trouble," replies Carthrat, shrugging.

"Heh. Ain't half as exotic as you though it'd be, eh? Space, I mean. Well, on the one hand, this ain't really representative of the better parts, but on the other hand, it's probably a good representative of the sorta place I'll end up going."

[Anastasia]

"As if you weren't go enough..." is her mumbled response. "Yes, though. It's surprisingly...human in many aspects. I suppose there are some moral and ethical ramifications to that, but I'm too drained to ponder them," she smiles wanly. "I think some sleep would be a good idea."

[Carthrat]

"Oh, and here I was all set to be nostalgic," complains Carthrat.

[Anastasia]

"Heh," she says, sitting down on the couch. "Sorry."

[Carthrat]

"Heh. Get some rest. Big day tomorrow," says Carthrat. "I'm gonna teach you how to shoot."

[Anastasia]

"Are you sure? Do we have enough credits to be worrying about that," she asks curiously.

[Carthrat]

"Probably not, but I'm gonna teach you anyway," says Carthrat. "I can always get more money, but I'd never forgive myself if something happened to you.

Spells aside, a gun is faster. Which is why I'm going to teach you."
